I haven't played in at least a week because of my general disappointment with the game and choice to spend my few gaming hours with other ganes.
Tonight I decided to play 2K. 45 minutes later STILL can't log in with these Xb1 issues.
Nice work, 2K. If you wanted to try to alienate hard core players on purpose, you're on the right track.
What a dumpster fire.
It's a farce. How many months are we after release?
The game should be more stable, not less.

Always been an Xbox player, and this is new. I am having the same problem as many others. Stuck on the team logo screen and hangs. It will load in 10 minutes if I'm lucky, and 40 if I'm unlucky. I've. received the same canned response from 2k support. We're obviously not a priority.Comment

Hey guys - best way is to take Xbox offline, then start the game.
To do that just go to console settings/network/take offline.
Then once the game has loaded you can connect back to xbox live again. Works every time for me now and only takes 20 seconds as opposed to 15/20 minutes!
They still need to sort this out! All my friends asking what to do now as well..Sim. Ball. Only.Comment

This has been a problem for the last 3 YEARS. It baffles me that 2K refuses to fix this issuse so I have to delete my reserve space which can sometimes delete custom shoes which you have to spend 7.5K VC on to wear. The VC isn't refunded either. SmhComment

I haven't been able to play this game for a week.
When I load up the game it goes past all the first loading screens and almost gets to the main menu.
Then says something like downloading data from 2k servers and it just sits there. I've let it sit there for 3 hours and it never downloads the data.
I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it still does the same thing.
No problems with any other game and the game loads fine on ps4.
So at this point I have a $60 game that's basically a paper weight.
We as the community should start a class action lawsuit.
The game is broken on so many levels that we deserve to have our money refunded.
Any other product that was this flawed would at this point have some type of repercussions, but 2k is getting away with selling us this game that in some cases cannot even be played.
EDIT: I was finally able to get the game to pass the screen by hitting cancel and then I lost everything, it made me create and new player like the game was brand new, then kicked me out and gave me an error code ebe....something, then I couldn't connect.
Deleted local game saves or storage from the xbox not the game, hard reset the xbox and started up the game. Still couldn't connect and didn't have my players. Went to 2kU and let it sit until I was promoted there was an update. Went back to the main menu, downloaded the update, and everything is back to normal. I have two xbox 1 consoles....
I bought the digital version of the game.
On one of my consoles the game constantly gets stuck on Chris Paul, it takes 10 minutes to load.. When I play on my other console it loads perfectly fine...Comment

I have to delete my reserve space at least once a day or I can't play. I know the dangers of deleting the reserve space but when it is the only way to get the game to get passed the opening video you just have to do it. Like it was stated, this has been ongoing with at least the last three NBA2k games.Comment

Yeah, I think I was having issues from not playing the game for an extended period. Of course there is no feedback on the UI, so I didn't know if the game was frozen, loading, or what. I deleted reserved space, hard-reset my xbox, and tried re-installing the game.
I was close to just trading the it in, but then I saw a post on 2K's support site regarding 2K16. I loaded the game, got the server connection error, then went into a play now. The game finished loading in the 1st quarter, I backed out to the main menu, and I'm now good to go.
2K definitely needs to handle these data loads better. At least give us a loading message and a progress bar.XBL: Mean Greene

Yeah this is by far the most unstable game I have ever owned. I have reinstalled it 3x and I constantly have to keep clearing reserved space to even get it to start. Many times I go into a quick game and it gets stuck loading at a random %. It's crazy. Only works when it feels like it. Sometimes it will sit at 92% for literally 5 minutes before it loads. I don't get it at all. Just now it was stuck at 21% for 5 minutes before the music shut off and i figured it won't load. Just cleared reserved space because it got stuck at logo screen again and now waiting at "Please wait, retrieving data from 2k sports server..." once again for about the 10th time this week.
