Re: Another NBA 2K17 Gameplay Patch is Coming - What Would You Like to See Patched?
What is the point of HOF pick dodger if my LDD still falls like he's been shot, EVERYTIME? Why are my ankles getting broken when I'm not moving at all and holding L2, especially when im playing with my LDD?
Can we please lower the effectiveness of brickwall and ankle breaker. It should be a rare occasion to cause someone to fall to the ground yet it's happening 10000x a game in pro am.
Can the defensive badges get a boost please?
I could go on and mention the fouls for someone trying to bulldoze their way through you and going out of bounds. Or the shooting fouls when I stand my ground and don't allow someone an easy dunk/layup.
Basically, I just want to be able to play defense especially with my LDD, some of those badges aren't easy to get.Comment

Please give us the ability to watch CPU-CPU & our own games in MYGM even if it means no VC. During playoffs I want to watch the other games because I want to see how they play for enjoyment purposes. Also would like to watch my team play against the computer so I can see how they play when I'm not controlling them, and I'm a college student so it helps getting thru seasons when I can watch my team play and jump in for crucial moments.
Please 2K !Comment

Re: Another NBA 2K17 Gameplay Patch is Coming - What Would You Like to See Patched?
I'd love to see the "RETURN TO THE MENU TO UPDATE" pop-up totally removed.
Why do I have to exit my offline game to remove this? Its nonsensical.
I wouldn't mind if it was something important, but do I really need a constant remind to return to the menu so you can tell me "ANIMATIONS ARE 20% off today!" I understand there are gameplay updates and roster adjustments, but why not give me a big list of those changes instead? I'd love to see the adjustments you are making to player attributes.
But really, make me leave the actual game play so you can try to sell me some VC? If I care about buying animations I will know if they are 20% off because I will be trying to buy them.
Most of the stuff in this thread are multiple cycle tasks, but I feel like its gotta be possible to get this yellow warning off my screen every time I wake my PS4 out of rest mode.Comment

Seriously. Thanks for letting me know but let it disappear after a second. I'll back out when I want to. Right now its far too big and disruptive when your already in a game.Comment

Re: Another NBA 2K17 Gameplay Patch is Coming - What Would You Like to See Patched?
arite. I turned on 2k to look at some sliders. I think some of the problems can be fixed w/ sliders. A lot of them can't, obviously, but I would like to see...
Vertical globally edited -15 or more.
I know nobody wants to see player speed go down, but I think that might need to be tuned a bit. However, non-essential.
The real issue is that they have contact sliders. I feel that the contact sliders for just about everything need to be tuned down. I want to see driving, inside, on ball physicality tuned down drastically.
My next suggestion would be trickier because I don't know how it works, but basically something like this: make it so that the contact 'ability' of a defensive player approaches what it is now as defensive ratings and strength rise.
So, for instance, the best mixture of on ball D and strength would get the best on ball physicality. I'd hope it is already like this, but I mean, tune down the 'average' a lot so that non-defensive players who are not strong cannot body you well. Of course, taking into account offensive stats would be nice as well, str especially and maybe quickness, weighted a bit to the defensive side.
Then on driving and inside shot physicality, make it related to low post D and str. It's not the most optimal but it seems fair given the tools we have.
This will majorly nerf defense in an already low D game, for sure, and more extreme fixes will be needed next year, but I think it'll make it play better, more realism, more 'real offense' as well as make defensive players like LDD/PP/GC into something more worthwhile. Since the max of other players is only 20 below, it has to curve at the top.
When I turned down all of those sliders, I saw lay up animations that kind of looked real, real looking fouls, and not that same contact animation over and over again.
Even if you want to leave on ball d the way it is (and I would argue DON'T) the inside fixes alone would change the game to something more realistic. Sure inside scoring will be 'too easy', but shooting is 'too easy' and it'll level it out.
Might even find scoring goes down because people will be shooting from many different spots now that they don't have to worry about all of this unrealistic contact.
Edit: ah patch nvm. haha.

I would like to see the Dribbling brought back to its release state, and I would like to be able to edit the NBA players accessories, such as add/remove headbands, add/remove Under Armour shirts. It seems some of these players are stuck like this.Comment

Luckily I don't see many gameplay issues only because my game takes way too long to load, so I usually just quit before it loads.....so yeah please fix load times. I shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes just for freestyle practice.

Re: Another NBA 2K17 Gameplay Patch is Coming - What Would You Like to See Patched?
Based on what I see while playing the game, it seems that shots that are contested late(like immediately after the player has released his shot) still seem to affect the shot success quite a bit. This should not be the case. Also these late contests should be called fouls more often if they run into the shooterLast edited by shayellis; 04-07-2017, 11:21 AM.PSN: UVE_HAD_ENOUGHComment

Can someone look into the Half Court Sets. The half court trap works, but your teammates don't play defense right in the front court and someone always runs straight to the front of the rim and scores way to easy. Not saying it can't happen but it definitely needs to be looked at.Comment
