Why is it that kawhi Leonard's ball handling is rated a 70, the same as Tony Allen, Andre Roberson and Danny Green. He's even rated lower than Diaw, Draymond, and Blake Griffin for more perspective. This is despite kawhi being the spurs primary pick and roll ball handler, checking in in 93rd percentile all while having one of the lowest t/o rates in the pick and roll at 9%.
Leonard is the only wing in the gm in top 10 in scoring w/o acrobat badge and the 2 time DPOY can't even get a HOF defensive badge despite being considered the best perimeter defender in the game and a 3 time all defense selection. Curry has a 99 on every 3pt category AND HOF limitless range, and 2k can't find time to even consider giving kawhi a 99 on ball rating. Dude also gets over looked on" one man fast break" badge despite constantly stripping ball/ securing rebound and going coast to coast. Now, I'm not saying he deserves gold on acrobat/fast break but a bronze is at least in the discussion.
Then there is j. Simmons, who is vastly underrated at his speed rating of 67, even with all the chase down block highlights in the world, he can't even get that badge. He also deserves a posterizer badge and lob city finisher bc if you're not familiar why, well here you go...
Could even make an argument for a bronze put back for simmons but I know getting spurs players their due is wishful thinking...
And lastly Danny Green for some reason has the same 67 speed rating. Green along with leonard make up the leagues best perimeter defender combo yet green gets no recognition from 2k. Not even a defensive stopper badge, where there used to be one on previous editions, even though he is getting 1st team all defense consideration.
