In a nutshell you just sound like a Steph stan. So we should just throw the stats out because it is Steph? He made a lower percentage of his spot up 3pt shots but he is a better spot up shooter? What are you basing that on? You aren't being objective at all.

So based on "Stats" Korver should be looking for a 5 yr/200mil extension ?


Listen, Korver is a spot up shooter because that's his role, in fact thats all he can do. He's a floor spacer. That's it. Steph role is obviously more dynamic. But can Steph be reduced to a spot up shooter if he wanted to? Sure he can. And I'm sure he would be better because he's a better talent. He does more because he has the talent to do more.

If you put Korver in Curry's role, his numbers would plummet. He can't do what Curry can do and never will. But you can put Curry in Korver's role and I'm sure he produces better numbers easily.

It's not just based on %, and it shouldn't be. The rating is based on skill set and ability. The level of difficulty. It's more than just a simple number. Doesn't work like that and it never will.

Also, from a programming point of view, that 99 is also to help counter: A.) How the game is coded in its current state. And
B.) To best duplicate Curry's game in a video game terms.

The game isn't really programmed or coded to play the way Curry plays. You do understand that right? That's also a big reason for the 99s.

Especially after they already broke the game to give him crazy extended range. He has a ton of badges that help with the level of difficulty when it comes to shots that he takes. After all, that is why badges were introduced. He shouldn't be a 99 3pt. Saying he should makes you sound like a fan boy.

Curry's best season he took 11 3pters and made 45%, if you even that out with korver's 6 attempt season, that's 11 - 6 = 5. 45% + 5 = 50%. That's how you even out those statistics.

Korver's 53% season with 2 attempts is: 11 - 2 = 9 53% - 9 = Korver would end up 44% with if he took 11 3s.

Curry's best 3pt shooting season is better than both of the ones you're comparing to for Korver.

Finally both of them this season even out to (when taking 10 3pters):
Korver: 40% Curry: 41%

Who the hell said Korver was the better player that deserves a better contract than curry? The dude is probably the least athletic guard in the whole league and he has no inside or defensive game. I never said he was the better player, I said he was the better shooter.

And honestly i've questioned at times whether the 2k devs know basketball. Sometimes it seems like they don't
