Where does your idea come from that just because they take more shots a game, the percentage will go down?

That's how the formulas work for a majority of analytics. Exactly why I don't base everything off analytics. Not to mention all the other flaws with other ones.

Who the hell said Korver was the better player that deserves a better contract than curry? The dude is probably the least athletic guard in the whole league and he has no inside or defensive game. I never said he was the better player, I said he was the better shooter.

And honestly i've questioned at times whether the 2k devs know basketball. Sometimes it seems like they don't

Just saying since you think Korver is the better shooter when anyone who knows basketball will tell you Curry's HANDS DOWN!! The devs may lack some things but they know who the better shooter is lol. That's not a secret and u dont have to look at stats to know the answer. The fact that you reference stats as the reason to your answer says a lot about your basketball I.Q. there is no debate to be had here. The answer is Curry, Curry, and Curry. Period. No debate.

Korver attempts 6 a game and makes 49.2%

Steph attempts 10 a game and makes 41.1%

Korver takes smarter shots instead of dribbling back and forth then chucking up some crazy contested fade away three, but then again that's just my opinion

Maybe Korver can't do it as consistently as Curry, but he definitely has the range that Curry has. Like I said before also, Korver is more of the sharpshooter while Curry is the Shot creator. It'd be like comparing who's better at layups between Shaq and Michael Jordan. Shaq was obviously better at dominating in the paint when he didn't have to do it off the dribble, but MJ was obviously better doing it off the dribble with all the circus shots and what not.

I don't think it's really fair to compare them since they have different styles but i'm willing to say Korver is the better spot up shooter while curry is the better off dribble shooter, but my opinion still stands.

You guys are fighting over a subjective topic and not worrying about the state of the game if kemba walker is rated that high.

I'm sick of 2k over rating the mid tier guys..... guys like kemba and demar derozan should not approach 90, they are good players, but there needs to be separation from the elite

demar did have a bit of a choke job in the playoffs but he's definetley around the 90s

Your crazy if you think demar derozan has the same type of impact on a team as Chris Paul, and an impact so close to the top players.

This is why the simulations in myleague suck. This is why people see teams best the warriors in early playoff series.

There is not a big enough gap between derozan and the top players. It allows teams to build with a bunch of mid level 80s and dominate in the playoffs.

Kemba Walker is like 86 and a Top 15 PG. Is that inaccurate? Devin Booker at 86 is the joke to me.

It's about his rating in relation to the star pg's. For the game and the simulation especially to play right, you have to give Russ, curry, Paul, and the star pg's a true advantage over the lesser pg's. 5 points is nothing.

I pretty much think every guy rated 89 and below needs to lose about 5 points each

That is a pretty substantial gap imo. It is even more exaggerated when you look at guys like Westbrook and Curry.
