    I wish when running at full speed it'd take at least 3 steps to get to a full stop. That would open the game immensely and give ball movement it's proper place in the game. I wish it was more about attacking late rotation like it is in real life. Fatigue could even play a factor in how long you take to reach full speed and get to a full stop. Would make everything a lot more organic and true to life.
    I agree with this 100%. Imagine what it would do to the pull up jumper aspect of the game. Space could actually be created without having to input crossover moves etc.

    I am sure the minds over at 2K are well aware of this and its a case of "easier said than done" - but its nice to think about.... maybe one day.

    In relation to the original post, it was put so eloquently, it's hard to add something to it. Makes absolute sense and really adds some perspective.

      Makes me wonder what is being used for spatial reference when motion capturing the moves. Probably not that deep, but I laugh when I equip animations and my hooper is shooting at nothing, some times starting layups behind the goal... It'd be cool to have a defender in front of a ball handle animation ( size ups, moving cross, behind the back, spins).

        The court seemed small to me while watching a real game soon after playing a MyCareer one. But yeah, I think this would also explain the spacing and transition game. They're getting there though. Also the players had to be too big Pause because 3 v 3/4 v 4 full court doesn't feel crowded. 3 v 3 feels cramped too.
