Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a dramatic drop in quality of graphics in the face scan from the prelude to the actual game. My prelude facescan looked great then it transferred over to myCareer and it looked incredibly low resolution. Am I alone?

That happened to me when I did the restart glitch for the Prelude.

Re-did both of my 2k and Live scans. I had much better lighting this time outside since I was in shade more last time. My 2k came out better than my original one this time. But it is still kind of off. The face sculpting feature would have really helped. The complexion is off. For me goes from alittle too light skin to alittle too dark .
But my Live damn near came out perfect this time around. 1st time, it came out good, but I chose a complexion a little too light. This time, I had better lighting and chose the right complexion. I did it twice. The first one, the eyes were faded, but overall good. But the second one I did in a different place where I had less shade than 1st one. It came out great. Best scan I had since ever did face scans.

If I had to grade my scans, I would say 2k got a 70/100. Live got a 95/100. Lack of face sculpting, doesn't have my skin complexion, and effort is the reason that 2k scans are great this year. It seems like i would have to do it 6-8 times for me a scan close to the accuracy of Lives. For Live, it came out great. I did it twice it came out good both times. Only thing that prevents it from being perfect is no face sculpting. If I can sculpt the face model, it would be a perfect replica of me

I wouldn't know about the switch. But I think there would have to be a different way to do face scan for switch since there isn't a icon to load up for Switch

Switch doesn't have face scanning. I think they're eventually gonna add it. Nintendo's paid online service isn't even launching until 2018.

Seriously, I don't have a clue of what I could be doing wrong.

I did the facescan through the app (like, 4 or 5 times). It finished uploading and stuff. But when I go to edit myplayer on the game, and I click on the facescan, I just get the message to "use your mobile device...", like there is no scan uploaded.

Ill need to try deleting my save and start all over again, but I have a feeling that it won't work.

I was having the same problem. Instead of going to MyPlayer Appearance and then "Face Scan," you have to click MyPlayer Appearance twice. It's a weird way of doing it but it works..

Don't load up a new face scan after you've already gotten a haircut... you'll be bald and have to buy your hairstyle again
