So anxious to learn/master the new CAP system.

Faces are going to come out so clean this year.

Just hoping they didn't get rid of the freckles, pock marks, & discolorations

Also, really hoping Steph Curry's hairstyle is available for CAPs this year.

He's a guy that I always have fun trying to replicate in MyCareer.

This hairstyle just doesn't cut it for me

I don't think I'll notice that when I play unless I dissect each frames and micro slow mo my game.

If you want a game with no clipping be prepared for PS1 level visuals (if not worse). The horsepower it takes to completely eliminate clipping at a console level and maintain high visual fidelity is not even close to being available. I'm talking generations away.

Didn't play 17 but I said the first year that 2k came out on ps4/xboxone that the game looked amazing. Ps2/gamecube/xbox gen was the first gen were I could like tell who players were in sports games from seeing there face. On ps3/xbox360 the details got better but hands looked odd and players skin didn't really look like skin. On ps4/xboxone now the players skin looks like skin and you can see so much detail on the players. I cant even imagine what the game is going to look like come ps5. I felt like the first year on ps4 the game looked better then its 2nd year but got better again after that.

It would be a long stretch. The graphics are good. Almost movie quality.

I'm usually quite hard to impress myself, but 2k's progress on the art is a legit triumph this year. It should be very easy for people to forgive minor inaccuracies this year. The game looks great. I'm actually laughing at this
With how great the game looks now really the only way you can complain is by being nit-picky lol.

I really like the way this CAP looks. Very specific and unique, and human. Hopefully there are many more unique possibilities.

They've been mirrors of each other from a player face creation standpoint since last gen outside of the shot creator and tatts(even though I prefer the roster creator shot creator as opposed to the player one).

Like there was zero problem recreating a myplayer and putting them into draft classes or into my league.
In 2k17 you couldn't use your face scan in CAP but only in MyPlayer.
I was so happy to finally get the face scan for the PC version just to realise that it was restricted to this game mode. I was totally mad because I like to put myself into the game but have zero interest in mycareer or any other mode that focuses on a single player.

That's the thing, I've been playing 2k17 all this time thinking LeBron's player model looked good. Good likeness and honestly thought maybe the graphics peaked in 2k14 or 2k16. 2k14 for textures and lighting and 2k16 for signature expressions and animations including musculature that flexes. Therefore I thought that the 2k17 LeBron looked pretty accurate all things considered. Then I see this 2k18 LeBron and it's almost photo realistic and makes the 2k17 LeBron look embarassingly inferior.
