So I'd imagine this is in conjunction with the other legend teams. Two biggest questions:

1. What notable players will be missing?
2. Can these players be added to an existing roster to use in My league?

All-time is very, very subjective. How deep will the teams be? 15 classic players or 8-9 classics and then a couple of "John Smith" guys?

I'd prefer year specific classic teams with more accurate rosters, truthfully. I'm thinking we're going to lose those classic teams to the all-time squads. Hmm.

I have a BAD feeling about this..........this could mean they're binning off the legends teams.

A few thoughts:

-Hopefully this doesn't replace the classic teams we have. I'd rather player as a specific team from the past than an "All-Time" team, especially when someone can just make an all-time roster and put it online.

-There better be some new legends coming in. You can't have an all-time Pacers team without Reggie or a Suns/76ers team without Barkley, for example.

-lastly, I hope this is a sign that legends are getting some more love and attention. It would be a let down to have these teams but still have players that look off.

Isiah Thomas/Chauncey Billups
Joe Dumars/Rip Hamilton/Jerry Stackhouse
Grant Hill/ Tayshaun Prince
Bill Laimbeer/Rasheed Wallace
Dennis Rodman/Ben Wallace/Andre Drummond

Please just tell me Rasheed is in the game this year

I think this is a good sign that we can edit short length on any team. I can't see them having magic or isiah wearing baggy shorts.

On the flip side, I hope this doesn't mean they're getting rid of classic teams.

Hopefully, they include the Supersonics although I honestly don't know how Seattle fits within "All 30 Franchises".

And speaking of the Supersonics, the Thunder have only 10 years of existence, while the Pelicans (formerly the Hornets and OKC) have 15.

Not much history there in my opinion. I'm thinking the Thunder will be most of the 2011-12 team members and the Pelicans will be most of the 2013-14 roster?

I hope you're right. Between that and filters that's all i need. It will be interesting to see if we're getting extra legends and if they're accurate.....

If I was a betting man, I would bet this replaces classic teams.

I think there's pros/cons to that.

On one hand, we lose a lot of the less prominent legends in the game...(it'd be ideal if they were thrown into a 'pool")

On the other hand, we get out prime Kobe, Timmy (and more) models back in the game...and hopefully means we get a lot more legend TLC instead if having to flesh out teams with John Smiths etc. TBH, I would enjoy an all time Spurs team with DRob, Timmy, prime Gervin than the bare/mostly last gen faced '99 Spurs that have been in the game.

Just my personal opinion though.

Could be that it is becoming too costly, difficult and resource draining to make historical teams viable. Especially if they are losing more and more players because they won't re - up or sign at all.

I believe this allows them to use the retired players license and bypass signing players on a case - by - case basis (exceptions made for Shaq, Kobe, Jordan & Abdul - Jabbar).

Having all - time teams will also be easier to edit as a roster creator, IMO.
