Man, it's never been easier for console users to expand and build their own classic teams. I kept on waiting for something not to work but all I ended up getting was a great back-and-forth contest between the 1997 Pistons and 1996 Bulls on the old Palace floor. Pretty legit.
Also, as always, shout out to Sellaz and the gang for cranking out so many clutch created players.
How did you get the court?Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
I started a custom MyLeague with a few mid- to late-90's teams and while controlling my '97 Pistons I re-branded the team using a court design uploaded to 2KShare.
I haven't really been into classic MyLeagues because I'm usually an all-or-nothing guy (all teams from the same year or none) but I admit it's been kind of fun to see how some of the teams fare (for example, Michael Jordan's averaging 41.5 points per game midway through the year).

You're a lifesaver. I didn't even bother to look. Though, the unique lighting of LCA was low key kind of growing on me. Made those Pistons look a little moodier than they were back then.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
So....I finally buckled and now have 2K20.
It's been a frustrating pleasure so far - just been playing quick matches with the Bulls, and tweaked the sig edits for Jordan only so far - man......SO happy to see tons of his layups back in the game, along side some awesome dunks, and the real kicker for me - the triple threat one handed ball fake is a thing of beauty. I managed to pull off something that echoed his baseline ball fake to drive on Divac in 98 - bummed out I wasn't recording at the time, it was SO sweet.
Outside of the many awesome additions, white socks, short length etc etc I'm having trouble adjusting to literally everyone's releases this year. Game feels so different from 2K16, I play without the meter so it's been a nightmare trying to hit shots. Couldn't hit the side of a barn with MJ of all people.
Also sitting on a problem I've had since 2k17 onwards - the change of dribble system. How on earth do you do signature dribbles in this game? Just mash the right stick until you pull something off? This was my biggest gripe which kept me with 2K16 - the assigned sig dribbles animations were dope back then. Definitely struggling without them.
Overall, it's a painful but happy learning curve. Hopefully I can stick with it.-----------------------------------------

Happy to hear you are enjoying 2k20. I know you only have edited and played with Jordan and the Bulls, but you should really do yourself a favor and check out the other Classic teams as well. The level of detail that went into a good percentage of those teams is fantastic. Steve Nash for example, has his signature dribble animation when he brings the ball up the court licking his fingers, Magic Johnson has his signature dribble animation when he brings the ball up the court with his back to the defenders and looking forward. There are multiple legends that were completely overhauled from previous 2ks. Vince Carter's updated player model is a good example. Also, I know you like to edit your players appearances to be as period accurate as possible, and if you edit one of the available Puma sneakers in the create a shoe feature, you can recreate a really close version of Vince's Pumas from the 2000 season. Also, obviously you have access to basically every Air Jordan and in the case of the 91 Bulls, you have the Reebok Pump Omni lite that Horace Grant and John Paxson wore scanned in, and you can edit them to look exactly correct to the playoff colorway. Also there is older models of Converse, in addition to the Converse Weapon that are editable to look just like Magic and Birds Converse that you can edit and give to McHale, Dominique, or any 80s players. Also I spent a ton of time going through the 60s and 70s teams and editing them with era accurate sneakers more than just Converse All Stars.
Also in terms of the dribbling, maybe hopefully this video will help
