Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Rodman for the win! If he has the red w/ black bulls logo & the crazy orange w/ black I’ll be ecstatic though this is already amazing. We have 1-3 + 12 in from the following:Saw this video of all the Jordan Challenges spoilers if you don't want to see anything. It does show that Rodman has his 96 Finals and 98 Finals hair coloring. Wondering how many hair options are available for Rodman.

I just recently got confirmation that the Clippers ones are IN... home and away. Sixers are not in, there seems to be an issue with them adding the jerseys in game unfortunately.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
There’s definitely some players I did not expect to see. Some players are back in that I don’t remember being in in recent years. Notable omissions: Brandon Roy, Marc Gasol, Tony Allen and basically that whole 12-13 team, 03-04 Pistons missing most players, no 07-08 Hornets even though Tyson, West, CP3, Ariza, Andersen, Peja, Bonzi, Mike James are all in!
Notable names I saw: Jeremy Lin, Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Kyle Korver, Jamal Crawford, Corey Maggette, Pau Gasol, Odom, Stromile Swift, Xavier McDaniel, Chris Andersen, Chuck Hayes, James Posey, Rex Chapman, Michael Adams, Manute Bol, Arenas, Jamison, Tyronn Lue, Geiger, Granger, Lance Stephenson, Hibbert, Kirilenko. Chris Webber is in btw.
Jersey wise, lots of cool 2010-2017 alternates making it in though it’s clear some teams they didn’t even try with while others have plenty. I also don’t get why recent jerseys (City, Statement etc) can just stay in the game…awesome to see some alternates in from 80s & 90s. Some glaring omissions there too, but Suns 93-00 are in so no worries there.
Last thing, they have G-League teams yet totally made up players, wtf is that about?!
I suggest using a custom roster and deleting ALL g-league players from the roster beforehand. The ratings and tendencies for those guys will mess up gameplay. For instance I noticed that they have a Zero rating for Pick vs Pop tendency. A Zero rating can impact which pick plays are available for you or the AI to call. It’s the little things that matter…

With 3 new modes devoted to classic teams, I think the art team has a stronger business case to do something about classic teams not having warm up uniforms in the game. Does a lot for immersion.

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
There seems to be some inconsistency with the jerseys and some players. There’s people who say they see Webber on just 01-02 Kings, some on all-time or both. He’s not in the Kobe Era though for some reason. You mean legal issue? 2k has to negotiate all of this ****?Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Man I've been waiting for hours to watch this video (just got off work) and I love how many players I'm seeing accounted for. What an amazing undertaking.
If all the basic stuff works as one would hope (properly editing teams and draft classes), I'm golden. I'm already having too much fun watching the rosters and plucking out names I never would have imagined making the cut in 2K on their corresponding team. Ricky Sobers, Ennis Whatley, Don Buse, Campy Russell... incredible.
Edit: Definitely wasn't expecting the '83 Pistons to go eight deep (well, until MJWizards hinted as such last week). That's a solid roster right there.
Also tempted by that '83 Sonics squad. Throw a created Greg Kelser on there and give David Thompson another chance at NBA glory.
Definitely didn't expect the 1992 Bullets to go 12-13 deep.
Dang and even Bo Kimble making the cut on those '92 Clippers.
All I can think every time I see a name like Chris Corchiani pop up, is that someone out there had to have put in an insane amount of time and effort to bring this to fruition.
1992 Suns going 11 deep.
Baby Bulls going 12 deep with Eddy Curry, Jamal Crawford, Tyson Chandler, Marcus Fizer, Jalen Rose, and Eddie Robinson. What a glorious mess of a team to build.
2003 Celtics one of the smallest modern Eras teams I've seen so far (seven players).
Shaking my head that they even added Wang Zhi Zhi on that '03 Clippers team.
From a player standpoint alone, this far, far exceeds my expectations. I figured many teams would be out there with 5-7 players. And as it turns out, a few do have just seven. But I can't believe 2K's out here with Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje, rolling out some 12 man rosters of teams like the 2003 Wizards. This is one of the coolest things they've ever done.Last edited by VDusen04; 09-08-2022, 06:44 PM.Comment

Gotta give many thanks to MJWizards and his influence on NBA 2K23. I know he's happy about the 2002-03 Wizards being in the game, and if he indeed does a Completed Classic Teams project this year, I'll be one happy man.Comment

Re: LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)
Just caught a glimpse of the 90's Sonics court and those classic early 90's 76ers uniforms. Definitely looking forward to seeing what other courts made the cut.
From what I can tell, the 1983-84 Pistons court is one that didn't make the cut. Seems I saw them playing on the Palace floor when the Palace wasn't built until 1988. Not super phased though.Comment

I asked in that other thread but maybe here would be better:
I skipped 2k22 so not sure who was updated there but I'm curious, do guys like T-Mac, KG, Kenyon Martin, etc. still have their older player models with tattoos they didn't have when they were younger or have they been updated?
