Sure, but I cannot help but feel these are glaring omissions since they are part of a complete REBRAND! I can understand subtle court changes not being in even though they are, but to not have courts changed for decades is ridiculous. Seems obvious that the 1st thing you do for a mode like this is see which years there was a complete overhaul and focus on those. Hell, Hornets have had their 97 court in a couple of times in recent years, even freaking last year!!! How hard can it be to copy and paste?! Sorry but this is inexcusable to me and won’t buy the game until it’s resolved.

Yeah I mean, I get it, if I had a choice of course I'd love for the Pistons' teal floor to be in the game. But on the other hand, the breadth of this mode is so vast that I don't think there was ever going to be a chance of some things not getting left behind, even things that seem pretty big.

I think it's just a matter of philosophical difference in terms of realistic expectations here. I've been low on 2K for a few years now but the sheer audacity to try to tackle something like this—to literally re-create the NBA in three separate generations from the bottom up, complete with dozens of new courts & uniforms, specific rules, broadcasts, draft classes, and more players than I ever would have imagined—is insane.

The way I see it, 2K could have come out in July and been like, "Hey, we know we haven't done anything with classics in recent years but we're adding the '92 Nets, '01 Bucks, '92 76ers, and '84 Lakers this year for you guys". And that would have had me pretty hyped after a lousy 2K22 year. Instead, they did something 100 times cooler and it just happens to have some gaps on account of its massive scope. That's a trade-off I'm willing to take 100 out of 100 times.

Well damn....started the 1991 era this morning and FINALLY....The Chicago Stadium has its authentic arena sounds back after an 10 year absence!

With the amount of yearly oversight and the lack of attention to detail to the roster. I really hope 2K would just release to the public a roster editor tool so people could fix these problems in 5 minutes instead us waiting for them to fix things that they can't be bothered by.. I know it's 100% possible but not sure if they even care enough to put few resources into such a tool.

It's either that or I really hope 2K plan to make 2K share cross platform soon, the amount of potential rosters and collabs we could have for historic roster would be amazing..Also if they make PC next-gen that would mean he could access and make edits for the roster through PC & those could end up on console as well.

This mode was NEVER going to be 100%.. if you didnt go in this thinking with an open mind, thats your fault.

When you ask "How hard can it be?" You don't know what they had to deal with JUST to get this far. They probably had issues with the files/code or had to choose which courts/uniforms/dornas to use at which time to not mess the game up. Certain things they weren't able to get in that prohibited them for reasons we probably will NEVER know, not because of "laziness".

I will say this, 2K devs should think about telling this issues they went though so people have a better understanding of how things work.

A bit off topic here but I could swear that those codes were fake lol, I tried multiple 5 seconds into the tweet posted and they were already used. I wasn't the only one too. Plus didn't see anyone in the replies flexing that they got it either (which is very weird), I saw like one guy that was it

We've said it multiple times: fix it one time, then use it year after year because Legend stuff doesn't change because....reasons. And what makes it so bad is that I bet true roster lovers who have been doing this for free for years would do it for free for one year just so that NBA 2K can have it right.

Man someone needs to come up with a way to get Phil Jackson as your coach in the Magic/Bird era.

Not just Phil, there's a ton of coaches missing if you start in that era and play into the 90s&2000s

If multiple legends can have multiple variations than LeBron should have more than 2 player models representing multiple years and teams.

- A older Rockets bald Clyde Drexler for the All Time Rockets

- A rookie Allen Iverson with short hair and less tattoos

Don't forget bald Karl Malone and Dream Team MJ w/the goatee!

I feel like Isiah Thomas & Dominique need an update too. If Wennington, Del Negro & Divac can get one they should too...
C-Webb still looks terrible too. I feel like he should be bald. He didn't have hair and a headband until later in his career..
Jason Kidd looks like they scanned his face in 2022. Kinda ridiculous to have that old *** J-Kidd coming in as a rookie looking like THAT.
MJ's Bulls need some love too. They updated Paxson finally and changed BJ even tho he didn't need to be. Steve Kerr still looks ridiculous. Jason Caffey's on the game finally, which is cool but he looks like a create-a-player. Scott Burrell was a focal point in the Last Dance and they added him to the game shortly after and STILL doesn't have a proper cyberface. Randy Brown & Darrell Walker too...also, where's Trent Tucker & Brian Williams/Bison Dele??

As far as your LeBron complaints, I'm honestly starting to feel like 2K simply just doesn't like LeBron James..

I feel that way too. He's been disrespected by no era being named after him. If anything the modern era could be the LeBron vs Curry era, they met 4 times in the Finals and once in a play in game in the span of 7 seasons with LeBron winning 2 Championships and Curry winning 4 in that span. Very comparable to Magic vs Bird who met 3 times in the Finals.

It is just in vogue right now to discredit LeBron James and downplay his impact and achievements.

I believe there are 4. The 1982, 84 and 85 player model. The 1988 player model, the 1991 and 92 player model and the 95, 96, 97 and 98 player model.

For comparison Kareem has 4 as well with one for his Bucks team, and three different Lakers player models.

Kobe has 3 the 1998 and 2001 model, the 2004 model, and the All Time Lakers model.

LeBron inexplicably has only 2. The 2007 Cavaliers player model and his current Lakers player model.

how are the freshly tuned ai tendencies & attributes playing out? noticeably different than past iterations?

I agree, Lebron is probably one of the most important people in basketball right now. The same way Rodman has like 5 hairstyles, they can just update his facial hair if they dont want to make another model. That would be the BARE MINIMUM though.
