Hope 2K change the FT form for the pre-95 MJ (FYI, he kept this from during 95-96 as well). As you can see, prime MJ raises arms and bend knees AT THE SAME TIME when shooting FTs. Just don't get how basic things like this have not been fixed yet.

Also, hand size and mental strength should matter in the game especially for MJ. The ball should be somewhat glued to his hands because of his gigantic hands, strength and mentality. Even when he literally gets smacked on the head by multiple defenders or shoved in mid-air for a potential injury, the dude just doesn't lose control. It's sad how 2K act like MJ is some soft generic superstars that you see today so that kids can own MJ with their favorite players in the game.

Not of that level, but it was as close as they gotten to duplicating this...
Ever since 2k13 the legends arenas have been completely devoid of life. The colours and lighting are flat and there are almost no arena/music cues that play during the game apart from the generic 'CHARGE!' that you hear in just about every arena in the game. 2K11 & 12 had the arena's NAILED in terms of sound. Wish I still had audio recordings of the 89 Pistons court - that was tight as hell!!

I'm ashamed I didn't even think of that. I revoke my MJ fan status, effective immediately ;-)

100% agreed. Jordan could do incredible things with those huge mitts, which is why I firmly believe he needs his layup package reworked to include some of his more famous one handed layups, c'mon - MJ was the KING of circus shots, he deserves far more attention!

Hell - the layup below was actually IN 2K11 and they removed it.

One thing that led me to trade in 2k17 was the utter lack of any kind of retro shoes. On first look, it appeared that tons of them had been removed that were formally present in 2k16.

I'm hoping that with all the new classic team additions, we can get some 'new' retro kicks to flesh out the look of the players - here are some I'd love to see make the cut:

(I'm aware the Maestro used to be in game, but was removed)

Would be nice if 2k added a create a shoe mode that features all the tools needed to make amazing original designs and as many of the best that actual players wore over the years as possible.

Make these things downloadable on 2k share and you'd have something the community can share to make it easier for everybody.

The Nike Air Uptempos are in 2k17. Hope they keep them in.

With the inclusion of the 2008 Nuggets, I reckon Kenyon Martin would be a fine candidate for a dunk package of some sort. Then again, I think there was a package titled "Rim hang fist pumps" or something, so that could just about do the trick. Though, it'd still be nice to have his post-dunk theatrics enter into the mix as well, particularly the jersey pull (or at least a mimed jersey pull).

Even his lobs tried to involve a two-handed hang and swinging follow through whenever possible:

Also, it probably goes without saying, but Carmelo Anthony still had his cornrows in 2008:

It's literally covering almost the entire space from the knee down in the last few games and definitely needs reworking - it should sit on his leg like the below images:

I know 2k had some licensing issues regarding Steve Nash at the beginning of the year but those ended up getting resolved. Hopefully that means his signature shot returns.

No idea why they would completely remove it from the game in 2k17 and not just make it a generic shot form. It's a little thing, but I used that shot heavily in 15 and 16.

This isn't really an accessory but this crossed my mind. You've got a lot of teams to scroll through now. The Classic teams should be a sub menu you access. When you go to "classic" mode to select a team the on NBA on NBC theme plays. Doesn't need any reference to NBC just the music. Just thought that would be perfect music to have on a classic team menu.

Lol see this is where some of y'all lose me. Getting rid of an entire game over shoes you barely see/pay attention to during the game? Forget all the leaps they made for MyLeague all the great CAPs and rosters made for 2k17, the new classic teams they added and you got rid of it over some virtual shoes?

No shade, I just think thats a bit petty. However it's your money, so...

I don't know if anyone mentioned this (didn't read through this thread), but regarding the 2004 Pistons, from 2K17 videos I saw Hamilton's mask looked horrible. It looked like this:

It needs to be more transparent and look like this:

                            My Specs:

                            ZX Spectrum
                            CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
                            GPU: Monochrome display
                            RAM: 48 KB
                            OS: Sinclair BASIC

One of the 2K fellers hinted there may be a sub-menu for classics this year. Nothing special like the NBC thing you mentioned, but perhaps something where you right click or press a face button to toggle between current, classic, and Euro or something.
