So is this #2KClassicTeamTournament on twitter going to be all 60 something teams or just the 16 new? Because if its only 16 the new team has to be the 16 Cavs. No way they get a huge get like the 93 Suns and not include them in their marketing tournament push.

I'm sticking by Kenny Anderson and going with the 92-93 Nets.

If it's the 15-16 Cavs that'd be a pretty weak team to announce on its own and leave a sour taste to end the Classic teams announcements on for many.

i actually don't think so. I mean, that would be somewhat of a disappointment considering the team it is, but we weren't expecting another reveal beyond the 16 teams. thats crazy! if it's a 90's team i would be pleasantly surprised but i really don't think it will be. then again, I could be very very wrong...and I want to be very very wrong. i would love for it to be the 97 pistons lmao...but...i don't think a final reveal of that team would close the book on these announcements.

Either it's the 2016 Cavs, or 2K got last-minute rights to a key player they didnt have before (Barkley, Moses, Reggie, Odom/Bynum). No other good explanation for this.

Since some of you are focusing on the word "magic" and "ONE MORE", I'd just like to throw the 95-96 Lakers with 36 year old, post-HIV Magic Johnson into the ring.



It is Magic, and he came back for "ONE MORE", so it hits all the buttons.

(personally I think it was just some social media manager getting creative with the words and they weren't insinuating anything)

also...if it is the cavs, you could make the case that the 3-1 comeback in 16 was magical with lebrun & kyrie.

As I've said previously, I won't be complaining no matter what team it is, free content is free, but considering they're releasing it after the 16 teams and are making us wait for it after the Tweet today, the 15-16 Cavs would be pretty lackluster.

I hope it's actually announced tonight. I feel similar...making a "special" announcement for the 15-15 Cavs makes little sense, regardless of last night's trade.

If it were based solely off that, you'd think Ronnie would just tweet that out without the prefacing. I'm hoping it's a major team we've hoped for.
