Re: Westbrook's cyberface
2K18 bodies as a whole look better from last years debacle. But yeah, they still have a ways to go to get bodies and skin tones looking accurate.Comment

I think they're still stumbling a little with muscle definition. But miles ahead of 17 which is a big positive.Comment

Re: Westbrook's cyberface
That's a nodded westbrook.I'm hoping that was a work in progress face.hes to skinny also but we can still add weight to the players right? And this is off subject but I haven't seen anyone bring up how curry wears his black compression shorts can you put the black shorts over the white leg sleeves?Comment

Re: Westbrook's cyberface
Some of you may not agree (but this is coming from an OKC user).
I don't like the look of him in that first pic in this thread. And I do think he's too skinny (not ripped enough).
But below is a pic closer to what you'd be looking at when playing. His body looks fine from this sort of angle IMO. For me personally anyway.
I game with broadcast cam - I am sure he will look fine from there (would LOVE to see though)......
May seem like settling to some, but this is how I feel about it anyway.Attached FilesComment

Re: Westbrook's cyberface
Agreed. I think 2k gets a lot of players right, face scan-wise... This early, in Comparing what we have seen of 2k18 with live 18, I can say that LBJ and Westbrook look better in live. They also have pretty stellar scans for AD, Jamal Crawford, Zach Lavine, Giannis... But, with the rest of the players, I still prefer 2k renditions (most notably the Warriors players, etc.). And, for all the talk of how great the art/lighting is with live (and I agree, this has been always a strong point for them), with great-looking player body models, muscle definition, etc. I've noticed (at least from the demo) that live sorta uses just 1 general lean "athletic" body model for all players, and tweaks them to suit certain players (e.g. taking the general body type and making the extremities longer for KD/Giannis). Everybody is relatively lean, has well-defined muscles, etc. Because everybody shares the same model, basically... Dunno. It all comes down to preference, I guess. I personally like the fact that 2k uses different body types, and tunes them to suit individuals, but this approach is prone to f*ck ups as well. It's just that, in live, for guys like Bron and Russ, the combo of a great face-scan (when they do report for a scan) and that general athletic body type works very well...

They need to fix Westbrooks skin tone though. The overall face isn't terrible. Now his face in Live 14 was terrible, i mean really scary lol.
As i mentioned before it's not perfect as to be expected since he wasn't scanned but it's not that bad.

Lets help the director out with an honest, neutral face view...
Some subtle changes here and there could help a lot....(until hes scanned)Comment
