With the updates applied, this game is legit on switch. Honestly, I prefer the controls on switch as it feels more fluid. 2K did a great job with the port. You would have to be a big time stickler to complain about graphics or fps. It plays and looks great!
I read that you can't put the switch to sleep in the middle of a game? Is that still the case since the patch? Kind of defeats the portable aspect if that's the case. I just want to play a season with current rosters and that's it so this would be perfect to play on the couch while watching games.

Not who you’re talking to, but it’s awesome. Hit in graphics and FPS, but being able to take a MyLeague or play a quick play now game anywhere on the go is amazing. It’s literally like a dream come true

Welcome to your reply my bro! I find it a little lagging in players' movement, not a huge deal, just a little delayed, like very little...but man the game is pretty darn fun so far for me as well, though I can't shoot well in the game, trying to practice more in the freestyle mode for the time being, i always wanted to be able to play nba anywhere, now it is dream comes true for me as well! where do you ususally play your switch bro and what you like the game most so far?
I have 2K18 on PS4 and love it, however I was thinking about picking it up for the Switch as well so I could play it in handheld mode on the go. Are there roster and game updates for the Switch version, just as there are for the PS4 version? And if so, do they update at the same time? What I mean is, if 2K drops a roster update for the PS4 version does that also mean it's available for the Switch version as well? Thanks

I’ll play at my house on my tv, and then I’ll take it to my room a lot to play more before bed haha! But also taken in on road trips or if I’m going somewhere I know I’ll be waiting a while. It’s so awesome. My favorite part is being able to play a MyLeague anywhere, and set up a roster or play the game at any time! Also love that you can pop off the joycons and play with your friends sure quickly and it’s still a high quality game! It’s seriously a dream I was amazed when I heard it was coming to switch and I knew I had to have it

The patches come along a little slower, but the roster updates I’ve seen come at the same time as the other versions
