My problem is: it's okay to say that something needs work, but to blatantly say something is NOT GOOD, and not say what needs work or isn't good about it, does nobody any good.
That's the type of feedback I hate. For example, he says the Nate Robinson is great, but doesn't say anything positive about the LeBron, and I think those two are comparable faces as far as quality. His Rose actually has some good qualities as well, like the head shape looks really good. So to say "Not Good" as a whole, when each face has some good in them, is him just being kind of a jerk.Comment

I also want to point out.
It takes balls to post creations for everybody to see. The people that are posting them and putting in the effort should be applauded not only for the effort, but also the courage. Constructive criticsm is key.Comment

It absolutely is a courageous act, because you are at risk for what just happened to Kobedropped81. Just because it's a video game, doesn't mean that work being insulted doesn't hurt, and the only way it gets insulted is if the user has the balls to post it.
And, some of these take hours to make, so.the creators have pride in them. One of mine took like 4-5 hours.
And thanks for the feedback, I don't have the roster uploaded and im on PC, but I'll be posting some formulas like I did with Dale Davis.Comment

Someone responded saying half of his creations were great, and he didn't like the others.
...... Okay. Haha I don't see the problem. One person didn't love 100% of his video game creations.... what courage it must have taken him to post again! Haha I'm sorry but it's really not a big deal.

It's insulting work that somebody spent hours and hours on, some of those were requests as well. He didn't say what he didn't like about them, he flat out said they were not good. If somebody came at me like that (an approach that doesn't offer anything but negativity) I would be pissed. And, stop saying video game like that makes it less important, this is hours we are spending in our life to make creations (art, essentially) and posting on here in order to help other people, only to be ripped down without any thought behind it.
Difference being: Somebody said they liked my Chris Morris, but they thought his skin color should be one shade lighter (offering a potential solution). I made the change and released him because that user was right, he looks more accurate with the lighter skin tone.Comment

There are plenty of us in this forum that truly appreciate the work being put in by CAP creators.. It is time consuming and I hope the negative(uncalled for) comments do not dissuade someone from posting more in the future. Keep it coming guys..amazing work is being put in this year by many members of the community.

Honestly, I do agree with you. I don't think there's a problem with people stating their truthful opinions. If you do it like an *******, be ready to be called an *******, though lol. I called it borderline because I believe he was attempting to be truthful..still not respectful, still not appreciative, still not a dude that is contributing to the love, positivity, or actual productivity here..but not a total ******* lol...actually probably not much worse than I am for pointing out that he is being a **** lol.
It's more important to have thick skin than it is to be right..The people who put in the time to help others enjoy this game even more..THANK YOU. The people that offer insensitive, or ignorant opinions...thank YOU even more. I guarantee you it will motivate others to put out even better work. That's the thing about being a dick..the people you insult have the opportunity to get better because of you. A critic, however, stays a critic..no growth..just pointing and talking. A baby can criticise..it takes pointing and talking..not imagination or problem solving. To each their own..I love all of you video game nerds
