Re: New CAP system
Once again....just steal the entire face creation and tattoo importing aspects of WWE 2k’s CAW systemComment

Re: New CAP system
If I'm not mistaken, didn't they have that feature where you could upload and download CAPS back on the 360 version of 2K?

Re: New CAP system
Not to knock the person who made these, but that's due to the creator. You can get in-game quality with the WWE 2K create tool.
They definitely need a version of that. However, if they took exactly that, then player faces would look way too cartoonish for the rest of the environment.
---------------------------------------
We need three new features for CAPs: to be able to convert face images into CAP faces ala WWE, the face and body editing features from past 2Ks (and maybe the Madden body editing features), and the ability to upload and download facescans. Facescans get better every year IMO, and if we were to be able to share them on 2KShare, the CAP face possibilities would be endless.

What would happen is that you would have varying levels of creations from cartoonish to ultra hyper real depending on the skill of the creator.
2K needs to give people the tools though.⛹🏽💀

Re: New CAP system
Very curious to see if they even attempted to improve this for 2K19.
The last time they added a new engine to their game (Next Gen 2K14) the CAP feature took a backseat for that year and they improved it the following year.
looking back 2K14 reminds me of 2K18.

another year with the same engine 2K15 then introduced sculpting.

Now its another year with the engine introduced in 2K18 so will sculpting comeback in 2K19 or would they one up that with something like this?

We definitely need that face photo import feature...makes no sense how WWE 2k is still light years ahead in terms of player creation toolsVery curious to see if they even attempted to improve this for 2K19.

Re: New CAP system
You're probably not getting it, people who can faithfully recreate the rookie classes have less incentive to buy the next version of 2k. If you follow the money you'll always find out why they make the decisions they make, the random generated rookies will probably have better and more unique faces, but a full editor that can really recreate players would hurt their pockets.Comment

Re: New CAP system
You make a good point, unfortunately. At the end of the day, it's a business, and they are in it to make money. Sadly, that means that stuff like this gets ignored. But to me, if you want people to buy this game, you need to do the things it takes to make it a good game, and that is one thing that will do it. They make enough money on VC as it is.You're probably not getting it, people who can faithfully recreate the rookie classes have less incentive to buy the next version of 2k. new faces dont sell the game, mypark, mycareer & myteam do and that's why its not in the game. you have it backwards. You're probably not getting it, people who can faithfully recreate the rookie classes have less incentive to buy the next version of 2k. Re: New CAP system
2K makes enough money sucking money out of people for these modes it's sickening. You are very right there. 2K, like EA, needs to get their priorities straight I'm. The interest of the people who are actually paying money to play the game should come first.Romans 8:31, The Apex Predator MentalityComment

Re: New CAP system
Would love to have face photo from WWE 2k, but I’d settle for the old sculpting system as long as the CAPs look real and blend in with the scanned players (unlike how they were in 2k15-2k17)Comment

Re: New CAP system
I'm basically waiting on news to drop on this. If this is not addressed, then I'm skipping this year. Hopefully, with all the negative feedback from 2K18, this was corrected.Comment
