I'm not taking any time of this year, although I have a few more vacation hours to use before Nov 1. If we're slow at work I'll take that Monday.

BTW always liked these kinds of threads to see what everybody was doing for certain big game releases.

Taking off work to play a game sounds dumb. But I'm not judging anyone have fun but just know that this is not a sprint but a marathon race.

Not really.

I used to take 2 days of paid vacation when the game was released on Tuesdays. Since it releases on Friday, I don't even worry about it anymore, since I have a M-F job.

I might take the Monday off, but honestly...I don't play 2K that hard after the first couple of days. However, that's mainly due to the stupid patches. I SWEAR 2K has been a great game of the box, since 2K14 then gets "ruined" by the future patches. I haven't played 2K hard since 2K11.

I'll probably wait until closer to the regular season so that I can have more accurate rosters/draft classes and sliders worked out, then I'll take a day off to get a jump start on my MyLeague.

A day off with nothing to do other than to bust out multiple MyLeague games and possibly take a nap.... better known as a perfect day. I can't wait.

Every year, I take off on the release date only. I pick up the game at midnight and then play until around 3-4 a.m. I get back up around 9 a.m. and get back to it the whole day with no interruptions, until around 5 pm. The wife usually gives me a play all you want pass, but it's not that easy anymore being that I have a 20 month old daughter. She's not having it. So I will pick her up from daycare, let her boss me around until she falls asleep, and then I will be back on the game from around 11 pm on Friday until around 5 am on Saturday. Then my lil momma will wake back up around 8:30 am and make me pay for it.

I only work weekends so I took Friday Saturday and Sunday off using vacation hours so I want be back at work till the 22 hopefully I be at least a 90 before I go back

I work 3rd shift and the kids are sleep on my shift so I can literally play with no restrictions

Work nights so I still get the entire day to play plus weekends so no issues for me.
