So after reading some impressions in the prelude thread.

The face scan doesn't pick up any facial hair or anything ?? And your also bald ??

So hair cut or facial on the real life me won't matter because it doesn't get put into the scan ?

Is that correct ?

Mine too. Glad I'm not the only one. I'm enjoying MyCareer but it's taking me out of it slightly as I look nothing like the guy. All previous 2k's and even Live's demo had me almost spot on.

It picked up the stubble I have right now pretty well....

Oddly enough it didn't capture the small mole I have on my face....all previous editions did...

God that feels like an odd thing to type. just trying to give detail though...

Wow, 2K. Only 100 VC for the login "bonus" now? You guys really hit a new low with this.

That's what I was asking above. Where the hell is the card game? Did they take it away?

Man. If they did...it would fall in line with the app getting worse each year with how much you can get. We always had the card game, but the most you can earn has dwindled each new year. They had 500 VC cards once. Last year the max was 250, though it seemed like some days it was programmed to give you a bunch of useless 50 VC cards that was more relevant to the mobile card game.

Now it's 100 VC max and pick 'em?


Also, my face is more thin and rectangular, but for some reason the scan app always makes me look like Zordon from Power Rangers.

I'm glad many of you aren't having issues with the face scan, but I tried at least 7-8 times between last night and this morning and got an error at 100% every time except one and the one that went through was atrocious. Any tips?

Make sure your face isn't covering the whole circle. Give it a bit of room.

Yeah, thought I did that a couple times, but will have to try again when I get home. Have a pretty thick beard and can't remember if that was the case in any of my scans in previous 2ks. I wonder if that's part of the issue or maybe the lighting.

My only hope is, that there is some kind of ladder reward, so we earn more vcs over the month. If not, 600 vcs are not enough to play this boring app for me...

I think the beard plays a factor, my guy kept on coming out like he had a deformed chin but I have long chin hair at the moment.

Still doesn't explain why everything else came out horribly but its all I got lol.

It's crap I goto log in using my PSN ID well I do that then it goes back to the app and it says please log in.... >_>
