In past MyCareers I've always been able to get average teams to ship and win which isn't realistic...Thinking I'm going to go to Cavs for a year and help get LeBron another ring and then go to Lakers after year 1.

Going with the worst team in the league, whoever 2k says they are day one.

My guess is that will be the Hawks? Bulls? Orlando?

Not quite sure what my position will be, most likely SF, but I always like to be the franchise player that tries to take the team as far as I can really, even if I have to do it Hakeem/Dirk style and be the only superstar on the team.

Didn't both Hawks and Bulls make the playoffs last year?

The worst teams last year were the Sixers, Nets in the East, and Suns, Lakers in the West.

For years, since MyPlayer came to 2K, I would create a PG and force my way to the Lakers because they've always desperately needed a PG to run the show and lead them back to the promise land. Unfortunately, with the arrival on Lonzo Ball, I just don't see the point in joining and playing second fiddle or even pushing him to the bench or that 2 guard spot because he is the PG I've always created.

Add to the fact they've traded my favorite NBA player from this current era in D Russell, and joining the Lakeshow, no matter how much I love my team, doesn't seem like much a challenge as years past.

So this year, for the first time ever, I'll be joining D. Russell over with the Brooklyn Nets as a 6"6 Pure Point/3 Pt Specialist. The Lonzo Ball the Nets never got.

Together with me at the PG, and Russell at the 2 Guard, hopefully within a few years our team management will be able to pick up some decent players, a good lotto pick or 2, and we can be in contention once the Cavs, Wizards, and Boston start to fall off.

The rivalry against the 76ers, and Bucks should be fun as well. And hopefully, we can meet the Lakers in the finals and start a new rivalry for the ages, with so many great storylines coming from each of the teams.

Worse case scenario, team management doesn't draft well, nor sign well, and we become the Trailblazers of the East will both Russell and I lighting teams up with our scoring and passing.

Should be fun.

Not talking about last year, the worst projected teams for the 2017-18 seasons.

The Hawks lost their best player, it's now Schroeder, who is a nice starting PG. The rest of their roster...doesn't look too hot.

Bulls best player is probably Wade and that's saying a lot about the rest of that team. They lost Butler.

Sixers will be better than those two, Nets...maybe not, I don't think the Nets will be the worst team starting out in the game though.

It is Lakers. Gonna hold off from starting real MyCareer until first patch drops and I get confirmed info 'bout my two builds I am eyeing on.

I'm playing for the Miami Heat which is my favorite team. Yup I took my talents to South Beach lol
But what I'll probably end up doing because I play the game and kinda make my own storyline with it is one a ring in South Beach and then go to the Lakers via trade or sign with them then finally come home to the Wizards.

I did something similar on 2k17. Only difference was I requested a trade from Minnesota to Miami then in the offseason I went to the Wizards. This year I'm do it the same but go to LA first.

Me too, usually when I play the MY Player mode, I use 12 min quarters and try to get the real NBA feels as much as possible. Hope you enjoy as I will. I can't wait until Friday.

I always play for my sixers but they don't really need anyone now..specially not a SF or C which is what I wanna be.

I'm thinking the bulls for my sf...

And for my center idk, maybe the Lakers ..

Basically I don't like being Durant and making a great team better lol I wanna build my own team

As a SG, I'll either go to the Cavs (My hometown, so I try to get there as often as I can), or the Lakers (you KNOW Lonzo's growth potential is probably gonna be insane from year to year).

Knowing 2k, Lonzo might be in the 90s by year 3.

I chose the Clippers for my SC/LDD SG.

Originally I wanted to go to a young rebuilding team with a good player already in place. I don't want to go to a contender because it wouldn't be as fun after year 1. But only teams I thinking was NYK, Mavs, Lakers. Out of those teams it would be maybe NYK or Mavs. But I want to see how those young pieces develop after year one, that way I'll commit long term. I chose the Clippers because they need a starting SG. Currently they have Lou Will as starting and he is a 6th man at best. So I could focus on just improving my player year one and playing a role and then year 2 sign with a young team.

Nuggets, maybe Magic and Pacers

If you want to go to a contender but still want a realistic experience/shot, Spurs, Wolves, Clippers.

Not that many options for PG unless you want to start over a quality starter.
