Does this start downloading automatically?

Mines didn't for some reason. I had the auto download checked.

I can see it already. 60gb file or whatever..... won't be playing 2K18 til Sunday (despite pre-ordering).

Happened last year.

Where did you pre-order it? I ordered mine from cdkeys.com and sent them an email asking when can I download the game and they said I will receive the key one day before the release (tomorrow).

I just ordered in the Steam store (do that every year).

2K16 = Unlocked 2 days prior. Played on release.

2K17 = Unlocked at midnight on the day. Had to wait til Sunday to play.

All comes down to when 2K lets it happen I suppose.....

Did anyone Preorder on Amazon? I preordered yesterday and didn't receive a code. I wasn't sure if it went through because I never got a confirmation email, but it shows up on the Amazon website as I placed an order and there is an order number and invoice on Amazon.

Are you sure? I'm almost positive my XB1 has it as 43GB file (or whatever the size is) now as of the other day.....

You might try and manually start it in the store.

Finished downloading a couple hours ago. Ps4, only took about 35 minutes.

So I'm confused cause mine shows two different All Data and something else....It shows that the 2nd box is not downloaded...Is this the install portion? I can't start a download of it so I have no idea.

I pay for 500mbps but often get 600 to 700 according to tests. However my ps4 always reads around 140mbps, so don't really understand that. I didn't check when downloading.
