September 15 on the Nintendo Eshop. October 17 for the physical release.

I just got a call from my GameStop saying I could come by between 9:00 and 9:15 tonight to pick up my NBA 2k18 preorder. I preordered the Switch basic early tip off edition. I wonder what I will be picking up?!?

I would love to see how it looks on the switch.. I see no announcements.. It's like the P.C version you only hear about PS4 and Xbox..
Did they port it over? Did they use the controllers to enhance gameplay.. That would be great to see.

I know they're getting a ton of calls.. But you need to call them make sure they got it... P.c version and switch they don't even really recognize... It's all Xbox and PS4...

Truly call and call a few times.. And make sure they have it in the back and make sure it's the switch edition..it switch key.

I've seen GameStop just B.S people.. And even you get their they say oh we don't got it..or someone called you and made an error.. Without even an apology.

Unless you want to wait in line with time of people.. Depending on your location.. Might be fun to meet with gamers but would be an awful feeling they shaft you. Make sure and make sure Again.

This isn't Electronic Boutiques from back in the day where you are the people well and they were cool.

At best buy you could get a 20% discount for the physical if you have GCU. Regardless which version you get you will need to buy a microsd card if your switch doesn't already have one with enough space. The cart version still needs a microsd card to download part of the game.

Impatient people and folks with the space on their sd card lol.
Im personally waiting for physical as i dont feel like upgrading my sd card just yet.

I guess what you meant is that because having the physical copy itself won't take up any space from the sd card, then the sd card that comes with the game will be used for saved files for the game like roster, setting, myleague, my gm, etc?

Yea the actual game software doesn't save on the SD card, where as with the digital the full 20+ GB saves on there. However 2K does say an SD card is required for physical which is probably due to the big future updates.
