How do you import a draft class into MyGM? I've downloaded from the PS4 online community but don't know how to import into myGM

Can't do it in year 1.

In year 2 you will be asked whether or not you want to import a draft class

Also it's a little disappointing the G-League is integrated in a very minimal way. It's still the best franchise mode in sports gaming but it's got a ways to go it seems.

Football Manager takes the cake as the best franchise mode game in the world. It is the gold standard. Every day i dream about their being something similar but for basketball. MyLeague doesn't come close unfortunately. FM is that good/deep

Thank you. Can you do it year 1 in MyLeague?
Also if you cant import in year 1 what is the point of downloading a 2018 draft class then?

Yeah so I agree with most of the posts here, it is wayy to easy to build a super team. I was the lakers and traded away all my terrible contracts for expirings/2nd rounders, got the 4th pick in the draft, traded up to number one and drafted with euro player stashed for one year who was a 93 ovr... When he came to my team the year after he was literally a 98 lol. I signed both cousins and kd in the moratorium period, then signed brook back onto my team for like $20 mil.

There is a serious glitch with the auto generated drafts tho. The 98 player I have was generated AGAIN a year later with the exact same stats and name. Really messed up this save file for me cause that it is not fun to have the exact same player on my team and a different one.

There is an issue with the "no duplicate" feature in MyLeague fantasy drafts when selecting All Teams, but it worked just fine when selecting just All-Time Teams, so I settled for that

Picked Minnesota so I can wear those sweet green statement jerseys and got the 7th pick in the serpentine draft which netted me a roster of:

1 - Kyrie/Fat Lever
2 - Petrovic/Korver
3 - Durant/Hayward
4 - Porzingis/Anderson
5 - AD/Embiid

That team is ranked 30th in the league by 2K, and every game is a huge challenge, All-Time fantasy draft is awesome so I hope they can get the All Team draft to work sometime soon

So it doesn't look random but canned? If the rookie draft are pre made and hidden by 2K that's a very lazy way to "algorithm" the draft class...

What do you guys say? Would it be safe starting a MyLeague now and hope that the bugs get fixed before they appear? Most seem to take effect after year 1.

I play every game of the season with 1 team every year and would like to start soon because the gameplay is so good out of the box.

For my team: After taking teams that could win a ship soon(Grizzlies, Wizards, Rockets) I wanted to try something different and more of a rebuild. So the west is out basically, because there is no way with realistic teambuilding to even have a chance. So east it is and after looking up a few rosters my choice was made: Atlanta Hawks.
Promising young guys with Schröder, Prince and Collins. Guys who could help now like Bazemore and İlyasova and enough potential players who can be moved.
Plus they never won a title in Atlanta and after Lebron will be gone next year the East should be open for new squads.

I am really pumped to finally get it started, but I'm not sure right now with all these problems. Would be tough to start over halfway through season 1.

I would hold off on starting a legitimate ML until things are patched. It looks like they have a lot of work to do. Usually, the changes effect ongoing MLs so there's no need to start a new one but I don't really trust that. I'm playing in a test ML with the Knicks. Playing games, learning the controls and workings of the mode. Hopefully buy the time I settle on a slider set and team the patch is out.
