I posted my ML plans in the other thread. I'm gonna rebuild the Nets and Kings. As well as add the classic Bulls team to the mix in the east. I'm gonna remove Rose and Butler from the Cavs and TWolves, respectively. I was gonna add Melo to that Bulls team but I think I'm gonna play with the Knicks. They look fun from what I saw I. The French dudes vid. I'm gonna get them off to a good start and keep him in NY. I might even have CP3 get traded there if the Rockets aren't legit title contenders citing "tension" between him and Harden. I can't wait til 12!

So does MyGM have some sort of mycareer-like storyline attached to it? I usually play MyLeague over MyGM so I haven't read that much about it

that's what i assume, but someone in the thread said they saw it was like last year except different settings. but we'll see I guess because i usually choose myleague as well but i wouldn't mind both.

well the guy who was streaming yesterday said the story is the same no matter what team you chose in MYGm and that is the owner wants to relocate to Seattle......Which is okay with me as long as your not forced to and can chose another City. Also, Want to see the generated draft classes in terms of attributes and appearance, if they all look the same in 10 years as some people have suggested. And then obviously, the trade/draft/free agent logic.

I'm going to be the Cavaliers. Lots of interesting and moving pieces:

1. Already a championship contender, but can it be kept that way
2. LeBron's impending FA
3. Thomas' bad hip and what to do with him
4. Same with I've. Is he worth it at this point
5. Nets first round pick. Can we trade it for a stud or draft a future star

Lots of scanruos all trying to answer one question. Can we beat the Warriors?

Said it in the last thread, but I'll go with the Bulls this year. Big market, storied franchise, let's rebuild this. What I like is that there is no superstar with the team right now, so every starting spot is open is I find a better player in the draft or in free agency. Basically, it's a big playground this year.

Narrowed it down to three teams Nuggets, Sixers, and the Kings. Going to start a MyGM and if it has the storyline I think it does then I'm going to just start a MyLeague.

That was my opinion as well, but as long as we don't have to do the Seattle relocation and we can take the story in different directions, then that is fine with me

I think I'm gonna take it a step further. I'm gonna take away all the current teams, and add 36 classic ones instead. I might have to create a custom roster but I don't want to have more than 1 version of each player.

For example I'm not gonna put the 2007 Cavs and the 2013 Heat.

Possibilities are endless really, especially now that you can edit the ages of legends.

Eventually I'm going to set all players (current & classic) to age 22 and do a huge fantasy draft.

Excited to play it!

First thing i'm gonna do is sim ahead 10 yrs with default roster as quickly as i can and analyze the generated prospects as i go. I'm gonna analyze the stats outputs, and the team building logic etc. I want to find out if it's something i can trust this year. If so, then i'm gonna invest my time in MyGM this year (i skipped MyGM last year cos i couldn't trust playing it without needing to edit)

Great idea, I hadn't thought of this. The lack of progression from generated prospects has really irked me in recent years and really derailed any enjoyment 5-6 years+ into the MyGm.
