Anyone noticed an improvement in the draft classes with the new patch or still overpowered rookies?

Wouldnt that basically just transfer all of Chicago's cap space to Houston, while they already have Harden and CP3?

        NEW YEARS DAY UPDATE

The Celtics are currently 24-16 through 40 games, 3rd in the East. Here are the rest of the standings

-The surprise of the season in the East are the Philadelphia 76ers, currently in position to be the home team in a playoff series for the first time since the 2002-2003 season. The team is led by Joel Embiid averaging 20 PPG, and JJ Redick, who is leading the league at an INCREDIBLE 58% shooting on 3’s, while shooting 5 a game.

-John Wall cannot stay healthy this season. He has dealt with many minor nagging injuries, currently a twisted left knee, leading the Wizards to vastly underperform their expectations for this season, sitting at 17-20 on the year.

-But the Biggest disappointment of the East has been the Milwaukee Bucks, currently 12-22, 11th in the East. The team has struggled massively to score averaging 100.9 PPG, compared to allowing 105.9 PPG. Something must change soon if the team hopes to make the playoffs.

-The Brooklyn Nets at 16-20 are having the Cavs start to sweat a bit, as the 1st Rounder they acquired in the Kyrie Irving trade might not be so lucrative anymore, as well as Isaiah Thomas still being 8-10 weeks away from returning.

In the West, the playoff teams are about as expected, minus some seeding changes. The most welcome surprise have been the New Orleans Pelicans, currently 23-13, 5th in the West and on a 9 game win streak! Alas, they are not the sole owners of longest win streak. They share that with the Oklahoma City Thunder, also winners of 9 straight, and recently made a trade which we will cover.

-Owners of biggest disappointment in the West is still the Denver Nuggets, toiling away in 12th place in the conference, 4.5 games out of the 8 seed.

-The Dallas Mavericks have gone full tank commander, 8-30 on the season. They are expected to sell off all moveable pieces by the deadline.

        TRANSACTIONS

        -CONTRACT EXTENSIONS
        11/16 Boston Celtics re-sign F Marcus Morris to 2 yr, $13.62m deal

        11/16 Memphis Grizzlies re-sign C Brandan Wright to 1 yr, $1.44m deal

        11/16 Indiana Pacers re-sign G Cory Joseph to 2yr, $12.48m deal

11/22 With a slew of Point guard injuries, the Dallas Mavericks released F Josh McRoberts and signed G Deron Williams to 1 yr, $1.42m deal

        12/15 Toronto Raptors re-sign G Norman Powell to 4yr, $42m deal

12/25 As Isaiah Thomas sits on the sideline rehabbing his hip, the Cavaliers lacked PG depth when Derrick Rose went down with a sprained knee. The team decided to waive F Richard Jefferson and sign G Jose Calderon to 1yr, $1.4m deal

        1/1 Los Angeles Clippers re-sign G Lou Williams to 3yr, $32m deal

        1/1 Minnesota Timberwolves re-sign F Andrew Wiggins to 4yr, $111.82m deal

        TRADES

The Oklahoma City Thunder, realizing they are woefully thin at the C position once Steven Adams sustained a bruised right knee, made a trade to ensure they keep depth as they try to take down the Warriors this season.

        OKC Receives: C Georgios Papagiannis

SAC Receives: F Kyle Singler, 2018 2nd Round Pick (via CHI), 2021 2nd Round Pick

The Thunder receive a young cheap C who can provide quality backup minutes going forward, and Georgios was not getting many minutes with a glut of other C’s on the Kings roster. Georgios averaged 14/9 per 36 in the 14 games he’s played this season.

The Kings begin trying to solve their logjam at Center, and while this move isn’t one that helps in the immediate future, they receive 2 picks, one a very high 2nd rounder this year, in return for a player who wasn’t getting minutes.

        INJURIES

Nothing too long term, and many players are close to returning.

F Jayson Tatum is sidelined another 2-4 weeks with Left Knee Tendonitis, an injury that occurred December 10th.

G Tony Parker is day-to-day hopeful to return soon from his torn quadriceps injury in the WCF last season.

C Marreese Speights is out another 1-2 weeks recovering from his broken right wrist injury stemming from a December 8th game against the Denver Nuggets

C Jonas Valanciunas suffered a pulled right hamstring and will be sidelined 2-4 weeks as the team doesn’t want to risk further injury sidelining him longer.

F Draymond Green is day-to-day ready to return soon from his Severe left ankle sprain

Going into the new year, the Celtics are getting some MUCH needed rest this month after a brutal start to the season. The team only plays 3 games in a 2 week span from January 7th-January 20th.

Will update further at the beginning of February, with the All-Star Break shortly behind! Thanks for reading!

Once again, 2K simulations are absolutely terrible. Whether its Boston finishing under .500 or its Milwaukee or whoever, its either ratings or tendencies or something, but theyre bad.

I forget the exact deal I was offered but I had to reject a deal centered around Randle for Henson. I’m the Bucks I would have loved to unload Henson and get the expiring RFA in Randle but it’s so one sided in my favor.

I’ll be restarting now though that Bledsoe came on board. Considered just approving a trade they made but I’m like 40 games in.I sim often too.

                        Hi,

Does anyone know how to use "Opposing GM trust" in MyGM mode? There are MyGM badges which allow you to view the level or increase it but I have no idea how to view the level...

My only quarrel at this time is that in MyLeague, after year 1, no one outside of the user uses two-way contracts. I will there was a way 2k could change that.

Yeah I said that too. It sucks having to manually go in and do it

Is there any chance we can get a fix in for the MyLeague practice arena? Right now its the Prelude gym, but id like it to be the empty arena or the MyCareer practice gym. And I think I speak for a lot of others on this.

Looking to start a MyLeague soon but will probably restart it once the SimWorld project drops. Anyways, Im having trouble deciding on what team to run with this year. Part of me wants to go with Milwaukee due to Giannis and the new addition of Bledsoe, but another part of me wants to go with a rebuilding team for the added challenge. For rebuilding teams I'm thinking of Chicago (they suck and they're one of my 2 favorite teams), Phoenix, both New York teams, Sacramento, and Dallas. Im looking to decide in the near future so I can work on my images for a dynasty presentation in case I want to do that. Any thoughts on what team I should go with?
