LOL I kept thinking that Kendrick Lamar song had been saying "Biyombo, sit down" Didn't even look at the name of the song until today to realize it was saying "Be humble"
Kept wondering, who is this guy and why does he hate Bismack Biyombo so much

I also want to say how much I appreciate the NBA Today feature. Because of how I work I don't get to watch as many NBA games as I'd like to. Sometimes I just like to go to a game that I'd like to watch and watching CPU vs CPU to see how it will virtually play out and compare it to the real life stats of the game the next day

          Didn't know that.

I'll check that out next time I play to see if I notice it. Hopefully they change it back to how it was before.

Oh and I forgot to mention this but the Atmosphere does seem improved from last year, at least playing in Barclays since I've only used the Nets so far. Oh and the commentary has been amazing so far as well.

I do wish the CPU would call TOs more often than they currently do, which isn't often. That's probably my biggest "gripe" so far but other than that, everything else has been good to me so far.

GP and Kemp took over in the 3rd and 4th..

Game ended on a Nick Anderson 3 at the buzzer....I'm not even mad, lol

The stuff Payton was hitting to keep us in the game was the most I've ever felt like a superstar in a NBA game. Jumpers, creative finishes around Shaq...all stuff I controlled myself....I don't usually use the word 'rewarding' in gaming but that's the best way I can describe it...

I wish they'd evolved the assistant coach instructions and advice during timeouts. As it stood, the feature was quite generic but it had the genesis of being a good addition I thought.

It's taking time for me to adapt to 2k18. I enjoyed 2k17 and still have some unfinished business - I was halfway through a MyGM season when 2k18 arrived and find myself loading it up quite often.

I like what they've done with 2k18 and the direction it is heading in. It's just taking me time to adapt.

Wayne Ellington has been looking like Klay Thompson for my Heat squad haha I love it. Once he comes off an off-ball screen it's money.

Question: how are users dealing with injuries? After seeing my team fall apart in about 3 games I opted to turn off injuries but it just doesn't feel right playing that way.

Are users editing the length of injuries that happen to your team, and/or turning down the injury slider, or is this just a non issue for most?

I can't disagree more with you. I wanted that guy to die a slow death. I despised him. I detested him talking every time I called a time out. And it was the same coach for every team! I'd rather have rinse and repeated responses from the real coaches over that guy any day! I guess I didn't hate him to the point where I wanted him to die ,but man, the repeated comments got old after the first game!

On the court, this is my a favourite 2k game, Even surpassing 2k11 which was my most beloved. It's got a few quirks, but I Hope with some patches, it can come close to perfection. The sliders really seem to help the minor nitpicks I have. The game is just so smooth. I can't get over it. Shall I say it? The game is breathtaking on the court!

Is it possible to play All Star Team Up without 90% of players quitting eventually?

Wanted to update my previous post in this thread but saying that the stuttering I was seeing was definitely due to the subpar tv I was playing on in my hotel room. On my regular tv it's fine. The gameplay is very smooth and responsive, recorded this clip showing that... W/ Gordon there, a lot of times I'll stop short and then reverse dribble towards the middle, but this time I faked that and went baseline. In previous 2ks there's no way the controls would have been responsive enough to allow that move. Really really cool.

One thing I will say is that after being fine w the graphics for the first few games, mainly being played in Houston, i just played a game in Philadelphia & the graphics and players looked... NBA Live-ish. It was kinda strange. Didn't love it. Overall looking forward to getting more games in and I'm glad the 2k guys are always trying to improve each year. I wish the menus, scoreboard etc would get an update every edition but I can see how that would be secondary to gameplay. http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/59d0366c...7-15-01_PM.mp4

Thanks for the update good,I agree the menus and scoreboard..and overlay stats need to be enhanced...in this day and age in the NBA or anywhere in sports..you would like to see an immediate stat..in 2k the stat usually pops up right after the announcer takks about it...

2k can take a few notes from LIVE in the stats/presentation deperatment.

I believe this still has a few patches to go..before it's GREAT...I love the feeling of actually being able to control my guy..just like you were stating..it feels great but they have to fine run the Warping.. issue I believe that goes hand in hand...

3p barrage needs to be addressed too, on default level the CPU hits at a rate that is beyond belief, that alone ruins the game.(my opinion, and j mean OUT of the box).

I refuse to fine tune it with a slider because it feels like cheating..unless 2k tells everyone use this slider..I won't...how do I know I'm getting an authentic game..is it a real challenge if I mess with sliders? 2k made it this way so one is to believe ..that's what they intended or they would fix/tune it.

Thanks for the update glad you're enjoying it 🍻
