Another positive: Ball physics and player collision effects. I thought any shot my player should block or at least make contact to commit a shooting foul, that's what happened. Way too often in past games, it was like bodying a player had no effect, or balls that should have been blocked practically went through the players hand who was attempting the shot block.

Con: I don't think this is being nit-picky at this point..2k16 subs were tedious and it seemed like it'd be an easy fix for 2k17, and that it couldn't be worse. 2k17 subs ended up being more tedious and worse. Again, thought that they had to get enough feedback from people to recognize the sub methods were way too complicated the past 2 years, and they'd be able to really simplify it and make it easier to make subs in game. This years subs fall somewhere in between 2k16 and 2k17. It's incredible how in depth this game is, how much detail is paid attention to, continuing to make gameplay and game mode enhancements..but they have totally whiffed on maybe the easiest element of this game THREE years in a row.
Worst part of the sub-menu situation is that the "update" they made to it was completely unnecessary and worse in literally every aspect

Havent been able to play yet. Is it possible to make lineup/adjustments in the pregame loading screen? Something that 2k took out for no reason in 2k17 and was very frustrating

So much goodness, but I will talk about the things that are the most troubling after playing for a little bit: I feel like User team defenders still get lost a little too much in transition, and of course there is the "Otto Porter" problem, I hope that making all my own defensive adjustments will take care of those things.

Also the full body morphing that take place on some plays, really defeats good defense where what should be stop becomes a bucket instead.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

            Difficulty: Superstar; no tweaks.

Fun game but my complaints are the ball is too damn buttery. Players can't hold the ball. Bumping, collisions, etc is the worst I have ever seen.

Steal animations are ****. The stumble one, jeez.

Did not play that much but that's my impression so far. The Prelude gameplay is always different from the real game because of difficulty.

I do a routine each year. I play with teams ranked 30th to 1st the past couple of years now but now I am still doing that but also playing with the all-time teams after that, so for example, I played with the 18 Kings (30) vs the 18 Nets (29). After that game I play as the all-time Kings but I still play against the Nets.

I want to play on Superstar and not flip-flop from All-Star like the last couple of years.

Overall. I like 2K18 but I am not impressed with how the ball seems like it gets loose too easily.

There's obviously a bit of a learning curve with each release...

Mannnnn everybody for the most part feels totally different from one another I'm really digging that. I can't play with Beal like I play with John Wall and vice versa (movement and shooting wise)that's huge!

The spacing in this game is amazing. When I get an open look, it genuinely feels like an open look. I swear in 2K17, all your open looks were created by the AI making some dumb mistake, but it felt like people could still close out on the shooter quick enough.

                          Superstar level.

The ball security is atrocious... I lose the ball too damn easily... worse than 2k16

the game feels right out of the box. not sure how much slider adjustments will be needed in my gm. played default all star kings (me) vs rockets and they killed me. but after I made coaching adjustments and played better D, I got killed more gently.

this is one deep game. its like buying 3 games in one. I tried my team for a bit because I never have gotten into it. its deep. there are so many options.

it is almost overwhelming the options. had 2 hours with the game overall and i cannot even give a partial impression other than its almost overwhelming how much you can do in this game.
