I would add that the player list next to the schedule (in my GM) doesn't match the gameplan either this year. But I don't think the Proficiency menu lack of update is so important. Maybe I'm wrong but it's just a tool that helps you to cycle through your personel and find out the best starters for your coach tendency. Then you can select manually these players in your coach gameplan, which is the only thing that matters IMO to get the best performance on the floor. But you are right, it would be better if the gameplan and the System Proficiency Menu could update automatically each other.

Whats the bug? The System Proficiency and Player Training menus do not update with changes made in Coach Gameplan in the Coaching submenu. So if you update your starters it won't update it in the System Proficiency menu, you have to change it manually everytime as it doesn't save. In previous 2K's the Player Training menu would always update with any changes made in Coach Gameplan, doesn't happen anymore, players are all out of order. It's pretty annoying.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? So far only MyGM, but I haven't played MyLeague yet. It probably happens there too.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Yes, I can recreate it, it's never worked as it should.

How often has the bug been reproduced? Everytime I play MyGM.

Yeah, in previous 2K releases it seemed like everything synched up with Coach Gameplan, now everything is all out of whack. Doesn't seem like they intended it to work like it does right now, hope they fix it.

but during cut scenes or anything outside of games in MyCareer, it really bugs me that my player is shorter than everyone else. and my player is 6'11" yet guys like Devon Booker Tower my guy. really annoying.

Whats the bug? Problems with trading two-way G-League player with a contract player. The G-League player is instantly removed from the game.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? MyLeague

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Yes, just watch the computer trade a two-way G-League player and watch that player instantly disappear from the game.

How often has the bug been reproduced? 100% reproducible.

Oh don't worry..you go into the locker room at half time..you buy 15k of virtual Wheaties..and it's fixed.

Sorry had to be sarcastic because really what else are we going to do? They try to nail flashy passes..while not when getting basically. Passing down.

Why have advanced controls when they haven't figured a way to get the basic controls.

I remember having more fun with 2k15 and below...I didn't except eye popping graphics..but when you state eye popping graphics hey people are going to look..and when they see your 6'11 guy shrink..to small then Devin booker.

Wish they could try to simulate oncourt basketball and not that nonsense outside off the court..imagine how good this game would be if they took the time to focus on gameplay than that silly mycareer scripted garbage..

Seriously endless hours of silly text messages from! Girlfriends fans..players.. coaches really?. We're here to play basketball.

NBA 2k19 will ground breaking gameplay will stay the same but you will be able to attach your real phone number to your myplayer and receive wakeup robotic call from NBA players ?? For 5,000 VC.. (That will work flawlessly,the rest of the game see ::PATCH Notes::.

Sorry for the rant..2k was so close to the perfect game..a few years back..

It's exactly what I think, coming from 2K7 and playing this game for more than a decade. I'd love to see the core gameplay as first priority, but I'm afraid now it's impossible. Too much (real) money coming from VC, MyLeague cards, etc. It's easier to buy real shoes and clothes in your real life than buying something in 2K with a grind that doesn't involve spending real money on VC.

As a hard core simmer I always laugh at the MyPark highlight I see on 2KTV. They always seems to come from a NBA Jam game: double alley-oops, 360 putbacks, people making buckets sitting down at mid court with their back to the basket. Maybe I'm too old school :-D

I'm sorry to say this, because I love NBA videogames. But the focus has shifted too much on MyCareer and on a pay-to-win concept.

I feel your pain I love NBA and to see it go this way painful. There is always a little bit of hope they need change but I agree the money is probably too good to pass up for them.

I saw Ronnie 2K his presentations and when I seen my neighborhood I knew was all over because he was just saying over and over how cool the neighborhood is and you can get haircuts and new shoes and they showed no gameplay and I'm like what are we watching?

Once I saw that they kept showing their neighborhood I knew we were doomed.

Whats the bug? After a Loose Ball Foul by the Offense, the game will continue with Sideline Inbound for the Defense, no matter if the team is in the bonus. Freethrows should be awarded to the Defense!

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? Every Mode

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? One team is in the bonus and then gets fouled via a loose ball foul.

How often has the bug been reproduced? Several times (every time a loose ball foul happens while one team is in the penalty)

CPU players get random bursts of flash gordon speed where they move what it looks like 50mph to make a drive to the hoop and it looks like they are using superpowers to do so. Happens sporadically. IT looks really funky.

Probably addressed before.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? All the other shoes are there, CP3X AE, the new kobes, foamposites, but BBB aint there.

How often has the bug been reproduced? The patch says applies to all existing saved game modes. I used a sept 17 roster. all the updated shoes are there but no BBB

Was simcasting a game, versus Golden State as OKC at their place, entered the game with about 4 minutes to play as it was close.

GSW was wearing Portland's black and red unis (still with their team though) which was kind of cool but would probably get old fast.

PS: haven't been following this thread so not sure if this has already been reported. First time I've seen it, also first time I've simcast entered a game since patch 4.

What's the bug : 8-Second Penalty Bug. Watch the shot clock closely. (Me = Knicks. CPU = Grizzlies) After I score, the CPU has trouble advancing the ball past halfcourt. The CPU takes 14 seconds to cross the halfcourt line, without ANY penalty being called whatsoever. This gives the CPU quite an unfair advantage over human players.

What's the bug : After a timeout was called the Cheerleaders did a dance routine at halfcourt while the blimp provided a spotlight that bounced around the arena... however, the arena remained dark until the end of the 3rd period.

MyCareer: So I got to the point with my player that I got a signature shoe. I created and was able to put them on in the neighborhood and in NBA games. The announcer talked about me having my own shoe and the whole nine. I went and made custom colorways of the shoes. And this was the day before the PATCH.

So the newest patch comes out, and one of the updates was you get the shoes for free under your endorsement deal. So I go and get all the shoes and something told me to check first but I now have all the shoes. I go to MyCourt I see all the shoes on the wall. I finally get offered the Main Street deal so I put the shirt on. Since then... I haven't been able to change my clothes and none of my shoes are available.

I can go to MYCourt but I can't play any games nor change my clothes nor shoes even though I see them sitting on the wall. When I played my next NBA game, I still had my signature shoes on but when I tried to change them, none of my shoes came up not even my signature shoes or the customs we get right before. During the game the announcer give the speech about me getting my own custom colorway which they did when i got it the first time and right after the game I did the commercial for my signature shoe so at this point I'm so confused LMBO
