No response to my ticket either after 24hrs. I've given all the pertinent information and still nothing. I understand they are dealing with many of these issues but sheesh....it's crazy.

Spent real money on VC to get my guy to a 85 and more money on shoes, clothes, etc. Lost it all.

At the very least I want all my VC put back into my account so I can start over. I've created the placeholder file according to their instructions and mentioned that on my ticket and still nothing.

Was hoping to grind my MyPlayer with my friends this weekend but not happening.

As mentioned earlier, I sent my ticket in three hours after launch and barely got a reply last night and it was an automated one. Basically telling me to do the steps for the same thing that they put up today about making a new save and noting the information down about your character. Did the steps not long after and still waiting or a response back or something to happen.

I don't even understand what's going to happen given they're asking us to create someone with min height and wingspan, are they going to automatically change that back? It said the story progress won't carry over either and didn't specify whether to make create the file and don't play the Prelude part of it or do so. It feels so messy, I really would rather just have the VC back and get my preorder clothes back and that's it. Unless they have a log for each specific upgrade I did, which would be cool, not sure how they're going to distribute attributes for my character either. My second career is already at 64 (all earned because I'm not even going to risk anything more until this error is fixed), I'm almost thinking he'll be a 73 like my original before I even get it back.

This is so bad. Add me to the list. Me and my friends will be filing a petition soon to have this company investigated for shady business practices, giving people compensation for this issue as well as the possibility of a class action lawsuit that covers several other issues like this over the past 3 or so years. This is beyond out of hand and enough is enough. Will make a sperate thread on the issue soon after gathering up the 2k responses and allowing them the time to address the situation. Hopefully it doesn't get locked.

(How do i create a placeholder file) i just used up 185,000 vc and my career started over when i try to load my game it asks me continue from the prelude date 9/9/2017 i think it all has to do with the prelude. boy really wish i would have removed the prelude and maybe there would be know problems.

In the meantime, you can help the next step of the process go much faster if you could create a new MyCAREER file for every file that was affected. The reason we request these files is because they will be used as a "placeholder" MyCAREER file. After it's created, we'll be able to clone your old file right over it.

Please be aware that when we recover your file it will not carry over your actual MyCareer story progress and you will need to start fresh. You may also notice that your original save file's Animations do not carry over in the cloning process. This isn't something we can change but we will definitely provide a VC compensation for the amount spent on Player Animations.

Please create the new file(s) with the exact following specifications:

Position: Same as your missing file(s)
Height: Smallest height possible
Wingspan: Smallest wingspan possible
Has NO attributes upgraded at all
Please let me know once you have created a new file with these specifications; We'll be replying as soon as we can!

I just received an email that my save has been recovered. I'm not in a position to check it right now, but we shall see.

Tried this and still no change. I even logged in/ out/ in to 2k.com. Hovered over the "Play Now" tab until the demo started. Nothing. It didn't even pop up with the annoying upgrade notification. Pretty big bummer.

My bigger concern is it doesn't look like a fix has come out because I haven't seen any patches. So if you had this happen to you, say screw it and jump back into the Neighborhood and start repping up and god forbid, spend VC what's to say this won't happen again?

And for those who are disappointed 2K hasn't responded to your request don't be so surprised. This is a massive issue affecting almost every user (at least on X1) who's been playing in the Neighborhood for the last 2 days. They are in Triage right now.

Add a casualty to the list, just lost mine 20 minutes ago. I got that "Continue from Prelude" save file like everyone else. Put in my request with 2K and am now going to create the second save file. Im with everyone else though, just refund the VC into my account and maybe an extra 3-5K in VC as an apology for the issue. Hell if they do that ill even buy some extra VC!

Of course the one problem is now im scared because I dont wanna lose the save again.
