Why do perimeter shooters earn rep so much faster than bigs? It's ridiculous...

Re: NBA 2K18 How to Get Badges for MyCareer Thread
has anyone figured out how to train the lob city finisher badge at all?
i'm in my 3rd season with my 90 ovr PF but i have not even achieved the first lob city badge
i try to request a lot of lob passes during nba games but 9/10 my guy just jumps everywhere except in the right direction and the play end with an turnoverComment

Re: NBA 2K18 How to Get Badges for MyCareer Thread
I have another question, it seems like steals won't fill up my pick pocket badge bar after a game, does anyone have the same problem?
i had 4 steals but after the game it just added some xp for knocking the ball of 2 times
i wonder how to increase my pick pocket skills if steals won't add xp hereComment

Re: NBA 2K18 How to Get Badges for MyCareer Thread
Anybody have a suggestion for Bruiser?
I'll purposely run into people / hard foul in games, but I'm asking more so for drills.
I've done the Gauntlet drills (both post and the perimeter one) and agility defending
Sometimes I can get roughly 3,000 points for each but it varies too much.
Any suggestions? Trying to get Gold Bruiser on my Playmaking Defender SF (just got Silver)Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 How to Get Badges for MyCareer Thread
Need help getting Bruiser on Slashing Rebounder. I've got it Bronze now but it's difficult to predict when you will get what you need. It activates on occasion when I'm banging in the post, fighting for a rebound, etc. but I've had games where the badge activates numerous times but doesn't count toward my total. It's weird.Comment

It pops up multiple times during the game, but once the games over, I get awarded no points for it lolComment

Re: NBA 2K18 How to Get Badges for MyCareer Thread
I think I worked out why the Post Spin drill doesn't work, in the controls for the drill it says hold L2 to postup and rotate R stick towards either shoulder, it should be left stick. This may mean its not registering a L stick spin as a post spin.Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 How to Get Badges for MyCareer Thread
When you get ball from passer, hold the post up back down buttons, but dont back him down, go away from him, he wont follow you, then move to the center of the paint (by yourself) and do the spin. The defender will just stand in place and watch you score. It works the same for up+under.
It's a little tricky to master at first, but once you get it it's easy.Comment

Gauntlet Top for Tear Dropper and Acrobat, easy peasy. You get 10 possessions or so 1vs1 vs different teammates.Comment
