The CPU is only calling about 2 timeouts a game for me in 12 minute quarters. I guess I'll start using mine in place of the tv timeouts.

Look, i dont play 2k online, NEVER....but anyways, some guys cry about socks, and headbands for online and my player. No problem with this.
I´m not going to "online thread" and say: "Ohhhhh, cry baby, who cares about online accessories?"
So, it´s respect, if u not worry about sweat, just stays alone of type of this topics. Understand?Comment

Visual features that don't work in full NBA 48-minute games matter to me and many others even if it doesn't to you, as does the CPU not properly calling time outs.Comment

Don't care that much if people complain about petty things. What bothers me is saying 2K is lazy because of those petty things. If something isn't the way they like it, or is bugged then 'Wtf 2K is so lazy! Money hungry devs only care about VC!' It's a bunch of whiney disrespectful bologna.Comment

im a heavy sim basketball player i love every aspect of the game especially visual effects and the little things that bring the game to life, and the lack of sweat in 12 minute quarters throws me off a bit. Not game breaker but definitely needs to be fixed through a patch.Comment

Lol yeah comments such as:
'Wtf 2K!'
'More like official beta smh'
Don't disparage the dev team at all. Use some logic.
Not to mention the hundreds of '2K so lazy' comments guys have been throwing around these forums, it's all pretty frustrating at this point.Comment

Re: Less Sweat in 12min Quartes and CPU T.O Bug?
timeout works too (12 min) I had a close game with WAS yesterday and they constantly called timeouts, that's after the recent update. but the question is where the hell is 20sec timeout??
I actually increased the fatigue rate of CPU by 5 (55), maybe that's the reason, I don't know.Last edited by sudanmalkovich; 09-19-2017, 05:59 AM.Comment

actually I've just found out they sweat in 12min too. the effect's gradually torned down this year. no idea why 2k has done this.

20 second timeouts don't exist anymore. The NBA updated the rules this offseason. Timeouts will always be 75 seconds long in the NBA. (In 2K they're only 60) But there is no more varying timeout lengths.Comment

Re: Less Sweat in 12min Quartes and CPU T.O Bug?
I've read that some guys are arguing in this thread. Chill out guys. Now to further explain my post regarding this matter, players do sweat in 12 min. quarters. But only less compared to playing in 6min quarters. Players tend to sweat gradually only when they're fatigued especially in the 4th quarter. In the first half, not so much. How I wish 2K would just implement the gradual sweat progession also in the first 2 quarters and when players are not fatigued yet.
Regarding the timeouts, I do noticed that the CPU now calls timeout randomly after the latest update. Played a game a while ago, the CPU called 2 timeouts in the 1st half. 1 in each quarter. Then the same during the 2nd half. Maybe they fixed it with the update, I don't know. But in my opinion, as the NBA removes the 20 sec. timeout and the mandatory TV timeout this upcoming season, we really ain't sure how the teams will utilized the new timeouts. So maybe we'll just have to wait after the start of the NBA season to see a pattern on how teams calls timeout during a game. Then maybe 2K will patch it.Comment

Good info, kind of weird situation. I played 2 back to back 12 minute qt games and not one time out was called by the cpu. Sweat was there but no timeouts.Comment
