Im guessing very few actually worked to get to 85. I dont play online but I like going to the neighborhood to watch others play, and I noticed it seemed everyone was in the 80's already

I dont fault 2k for seeing a way to make more money, after all thats what a business is suppose to do. They should thank God there are a lot of suckers who play this game, as well as clueless parents who just throw money at their kids without them having to earn it that play NBA2k Granted I know a few who play this game, likely do work alot so they dont have time to be able to grind it out, and that I do understand, sadly Id say this is the minority group of onliners

What I want to know is how long/how much VC it takes to go from 85 to 99

People have pulled out their calculator to figure out how much VC it takes to get to 85. I wanna know how long it takes to max out a player with a full arsenal of badges.

Yeah, I simply don't have time to grind for multiple players. Bought $80 worth of VC for two players and called it a day. Last year I had about 7 or 8 players, this year will likely be just these two. Maybe a third (wing player, I have a big and a guard already), but I won't be buying anymore VC this year unless there's a deal I can't pass up.

I bought the Shaq legend gold edition and didn't have to buy any VC and even had some left over to use in my team(:

But last year I got the $60 version of the game and actually had to grind my way to a 90+
