Layups work finenin Playnow, Myleague, MyGm, even in mycareer in the park courts and mycourt but they dont work right in mycareer nba games i gues they seperated these all for some reason so maybe they can also seperately fix the issues i hope

That's not true. I'm an offline player like 99% of the time and the layups are off in all these modes. I disregarded it in MyCareer because I figured my stats were trash, but once I started playing MyLeague and saw elite players missing easy layups over and over again, I realised it wasn't my MyPlayer at all.

It boggles the mind that we still do not have any patch notes telling us what exactly we just downloaded.

Just a thought, but could it be they "patched" somethings but want to wait to see if the patches actually worked before saying something has been patched? For example, if they attempted to patch the deleting saves and included it in the patch notes, but saves still get deleted after the patch then they'll leave that part out of the patch notes.

For future art updates on some classic players

-please fix '13 Knicks amare's number and put his goggles on, idk how you can even get the number wrong when the pic you use for the player has the correct number

-add some stubble to '04 lakers Kobe's head

-if possible please replace Tracy Mcgrady's cyberface ASAP, it is almost disrespectful. If possible use a different cyberfaces for Toronto and Rockets models

-put some high socks on '11 bulls Korver, pretty sure no one has seen that boy's ankles or shins in the past decade
-easy fix but please add ankle braces to '11 bulls derrick rose

I am a offline gamer to and I was having a issue seeing to many easy missed layups my self but the last like 3 games I have had layup slider at 52 instead of 50 and things are much better now.

I find this funny. I got player of the game in my career with 3 mins left up by 1 - we ended up losing that game coz I had low stamina and got ripped on two over aggressive drives lol

Are people complaining about missing these contested layups? Please 2k don't change a thing. It's not like we are missing wide open layups I dont get why people are complaining already.

go to youtube, type in "nba2k18 missing layups" - ALL of those guys are mistaken and wrong and YOU are right?

just a simple yes or a no please.

i'm not trying to argue w/you, I'm simply pointing out that if this many random people who don't know each other are having this issue, then maybe it is an actual issue. you don't agree?

I did a search on that and the latest one I found was 12 hours ago, BEFORE the patch released. And people are blaming it on the patch, which is weird because I have my sliders turned layups down to 48 and they're fine. I can make them by timing it just fine.

because most people are low rated. now me. my guy has a 90+ layup rating. so even if my timing is trash. i should be making layups with no defenders around say like Towns. which would be like 80% of the time. with defenders some what close. 60 yo 70%. with defenders on me that are good at defense. 45 to 50%. remember I'm a bigman. in the paint = high fg% and it gets higher with no defense or super short guys around.

its broken thats why we're blowing layups. i hope the patch fixed it. i dont want to make every shot when a guy is on me. i want to make a lot of shots when a guy is no where around me. to make them guard me to create space for my teammates. and to also make me go to counter moves.

So you want ..... TIMED LAYUPS... ?

Whether they're completely wide open or not, we're missing too many layups that shouldn't be missed. I'm not talking about being heavily contested, and I'm not saying that they should be made 100% of the time. Something that might happen once every three or four games in the NBA is happening multiple times per game in 2K18, and it's unquestionably unrealistic.

I'm not a competitive player. I don't play 2K because I want to put up 60 points and 10 blocks. I try to play realistically, so if you think I'm one of these park players that gets salty because they don't shoot 100% every game, you couldn't be more wrong. I want games to play out like they would in reality and these constantly blown layups are not realistic, so it's irking me. I would be equally irked if making heavily contested layups were too easy.

That's why I'm complaining. I just want 2K18 to be the best that it can be.
