I wish they had it set up like MLBTS has it, where you can read the patch notes where they show what was done it the roster updates. Kind of sucks not knowing what was fixed and what wasnt.

I will say after playing a couple games, gameplay actually seems improved, cant put my finger on it, but it actually feels better than before, and it was pretty darn good before the patch.

I am making much more lay ups right now. Shooting Fouls are also much less.

I'm gonna hop right onto the bandwagon to get layups tuned. I feel like it shouldn't be easy, but in no way should we be missing this many layups on Pro or All Star.

I think the whole layup thing is caused by and related to shot contests.

I don't 2k nerfing defense but at the same time, it's frustrating to see the shot defense impact be so high regardless of slider.

Just check other people's posts. You'll see that they're getting contested shots but the CPU is behind them or jumping up in the wrong direction with some space, but shot is still considered contested.

2k needs to fix shot contests I feel. Or at least fix the detection system for what a good shot contest is.

My 71 slasher is scoring 61% around the rim on Hall of Fame. There is no problem with layups, really. I just don't think people are choosing their shots well enough, honestly.

Once I started concentrating on:

Finishing with the correct hand

Not starting my layup attempts so far out

My layup success has shot way up...I really hope they don't tweak it man....its going to he madness in the paint...

Question...? If there is only a 1 point difference between the two teams, and there is 52.9 seconds left in the game... How can the computer announce who the player of the game is already??

They do this in real life pretty regularly. In other sports too. 'Impact player of the game' etc. They don't care about which team wins, just who individually performed best.

Man. Looking at the comments on the Twitter links getting posted here is scary. So many guys saying 'Why do I miss my good release shots?!' and talking about missing open shots like they never should. Please don't break this game to save the casuals again 2K.

^^^i will be really piss if this game got ruined bcoz of this online whiners. i wish there is a banned in OS for online users. or at least they only have one thread for all their childish complaints and not in every other thread.

Outside of MyGM and MyLeague being broken and needing fixed, the gameplay side of things is great. Could they tune things to have more non shooting fouls and tune the shooting fouls for more fouls on attempted 3's and all perimeter shots, as Ive yet to see any shooting fouls on attempted 3's and IRL it happens all th etime these days. Ive seen 1 shooting fouls on a 15ft jumper on 7 full games of 12 minute qtrs. Also could tune turnovers to have more non steal turnovers as well. But Honestly if it were to risk having a negative impact on gameplay, I would be just fine if all they fix is MyGM and MyLeague and they dont touch gameplay at all.

I can see why some might be seeing to many misses layups, I see it with both me and the CPU misses too many as well, but both of these can be tweaked to perfection with sliders, so Im fine with it like it is. So I definitely undertstand why some onliners would say dont touch it at all, because the devs have a tendency to screw it up when they tuned stuff like this. So while I dont play online, I dont blame you guys who dont want it ouch, because if they make it too easy then all these crybabies onliners, will cheese it to death, and there will be no skill at all.
JMO, but when it comes to gameplay and tuning it, they should always wait for several weeks before ever thinking about touching it. This yr shooting, should just be left alone period, if you play offline like me, you can tweak it however you want, online, maybe you should just get better,lol.

No other major game I know

1. Dont say what they will patch before it drops (Outside of exploits)
2. Dont have the Notes ready when it drops....

I said it before Ill say it again...2K community management is amateur hour
