Don't worry about the missed shots. Just watch how open players are. They have some great plays for getting players open quickly.

I'm guessing I'm the only one that loves inbound plays lol... just like every year lol

You get so many great looks at the basket out of some of these. I'm surprised more PRo AM teams don't run inbound stuff.

It's truly sad. I don't see enough users calling inbound plays. It literally gets to easy buckets off of one or 2 passes. Don't get me wrong. I catch myself just in bounding the ball too.

I should of thrown a alley oop.

This play is designed to get the PG open on a Down screen but with a little misdirection. But users can get confused about who they are covering.

Since this thread Ive been using them a lot more and got some great looks.

But sometimes, the control scheme just doesn't work, or I do something wrong, and the dude does not pass the ball.

            Holy crap.

I just won a playoff game based off one of these plays. A triple staggered screen opened up JJ Redick for the corner 3. Unbelievable. How good is this.

(The play was quick 2 base 3 '3')

I've complained about for the last 3 years. Da_Czar did give me a tip. That if you call it before the ref gets the ball. He will not give the ball to the inbounder until all the players are set. Basically change position. You see it in the video I posted about Kerry and Keith change spots to get into the

That's was awesome!!!!!!!! These are the kind of situations I'm talking about where inbound plays can change the game.

Damn Jeebs, this is why OS is the best sim site there is. A knowledgeable poster such as yourself brings something to the table and opens a portion of the game up for everyone else.

Thank you! I make this thread every year. Da_Czar works really hard on this (because I press him on the subject every year LMAO jk). I was actually going to send my yearly inbound plays email to him lol.

That's one of my favorite plays on the baseline. One of the things I like to do on that play is throw it to JJ to inbound and then pass it to the cutter for the reverse layup. You can also get oops.

Obviously we wish we could deepen the in bounding. I'm really happy with inbound this year. Espeically with the delay of the inbound from the ref. giving you a chance to call a freaking play.

What I wish we could do is call inbound plays from the timeouts. Which is a tough request. Because they overhauled the timeout menu from 2k17. It might make users more interested in play calling.

I call plays in my league online. Do you call it before it before the ref picks up the ball? It's pretty fast. You have to be super aware.

Sometimes it's good to know all the plays. So you don't have to call any. The CPU calls a each time.

                        Quick Base 1 "3"

Here is another gem. I've been able to get oops off this one. But the second branch with the guard picking out is nice. Best thing is you can start your offense right out of that if he's covered Instead of shooting like I did here with Kidd.

                        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sHAfgGAiUC0?start=712" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I posted this play before (a few pages). But you'll notice in game. I don't even call any play. I just recognize the formation. And roll with it. It's a nice action after inbounding the ball. Esepically vs off-ball users. They get confused about who to cover. And lost track of their man. Screwing up the whole defense. I think it's called Side RIP 2 "3". The SG comes off a double pin down. But in the case below. Kerry finds Keith wide open.

                        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sHAfgGAiUC0?start=1017" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

This is the same play. You really need to practice the plays to get a feel for this kind of out come. I love how you need to react instead of it before a "money play". Where you know it's going to end up in players hands

Been really impressed with these this year. Player lock a created point guard in my league and most of the time it’s an easy bucket on inbounds thanks to how gorgeous these plays are.

There’s a rare occurrence late in games where the computer won’t allow the play to play out and he’ll throw it directly to me no matter where my guy is, but other than that, inbounds plays are beautiful this year.

I think I have a new favorite Inbound play!!! It's for the baseline.... I love any STS in this game aka "Screen the Screener". I think Da_Czar just added this one lol.

                            Quick "2" Side 2 STS "2"

                            <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/tWKZNfSluHg?start=1182" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It cause so much traffic I could imagine it being pretty tough in real life to communicate properly to stop this play.

As you can see... I went a little early. And John Paxson gets caught up with MJ about switching or not. And by the time he figures it out. Kenyon got a good screen on him. But he's the best part. I took a jumper in the video above. But I could of easily drove to the basket or drive and kick (to any number of players). The only problem might be the inbounders defender might time up the steal here. But also if I run to the corner. I'm wide open still.

Like a normal alley oop. Just double tap triangle or Y.
