You shouldn't even bother with hook shots, its probably the lowest percentage shot in the game on HOF this year.

Anybody got running hook tips? I can't get animations like this:

        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ySGxubAX0Dw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Consistently. What way should I tilt the stick to get the best results.

There are 2 hooks you should look into. But just a heads up though. None of them look like the above. LA hook would have to be animation.

So after a lot more games online and testing the post game, i think i'm really starting to enjoy it much more.

The one important thing that i overlooked a few weeks ago, was spacing. Spacing is extremely important this year for the post game. Last year i could dominate a crowded paint with post moves.....can't do that this year. The help defenders are smarter.

If you find the right freelance and get the right spacing, you can have your big man on an island by himself to do work with the help not being able to come in time.
              Lineup:
              PG) Gary Payton
              SG) '95-'96 Michael Jordan
              SF) Sapphire Scottie Pippen
              PF) '95-'96 Dennis Rodman
              C) Hakeem Olajuwon

Put this last one away from the post with my guy Marc- slowed the game down and went to work. Had some swagger there at the end, lol...

                  That's great to hear Earv!!

But I've used the triangle. I've noticed that 4 out. Leave good rebounders 4's outside. And they get easily boxed out by little guys. But it also spreads the floor really nice. Because you know exactly where your outlets are on double teams.

I hate that first hook shot. I always hit the side of the backboard. Everything else was awesome!!

Also 24th, Have you played around at all with the post up pivots? It's another level that 2k added this year.

Anyone having trouble getting fouled in the post this year. No fouls on hook shots (even though you get hacked every time you put one up) no fouls on up and unders, I get maybe 1-2 a game max, playing as a post scorer on playerlock myleague. Joel Embiid got like 20 against the lakers tonight.

Talking about Embidd anyone see him do this today?

It's rare that I get fouled in the post....and that's mostly from moves after my spin or drop step. They should punish guys for jumping like they did in 2K16...

I never thought of combining those moves, I will have to play with that when I get home...

He's likely just releasing every thing after the drive starts and re-pressing LT/RT + stick before the momenteum stops.

Remember we went over this already. I totally understand that there should be more fouls. But it would be automatic cheese foul. Unless they programs it to be 20% are fouls.

Did you take a look at my Shaq video up there?

Dribble tap the square button. After starting the spin move. He says it in the video. The difference like he says in the video. Is where you do it. If you far away from the basket. He will do a normal spin layup. Closer the move your looking for.
