Ive had an OPEN ticket since Sunday after spending $50 extra to get 200k VC. I just checked and i now have 260K in VC but my character is still not there.

I noticed in all the pics of people who received hundreds of thousands of VC that there characters were also 85+ meaning they got tons of VC PLUS their original character back.

I don't want to start a new character with the VC they basically just refunded me if there is a chance i will still get my old character back with the 200VC ive already invested in him with the badge or two ive already grinded out.

In my 40 years of life and nearly 33 years of gaming, ive never felt absolutely screwed by a game until Friday the 13th The Game...they were a kickstarter project from a new company...this is 2 freakin K and i feel equally screwed.

Just got 50,000VC when i only asked for 35K, so thats a W in my book! Now, someone please tell me its okay to start playing again.

I agree. I basically received around 90,000 VC I didn't have but I would much rather have MyPlayer overall and badges.

We still don't even know if it's safe to start a new one or if they stopped the cloning process and just giving money. So a lot of us are in the dark. 2K customer support is the worst I've ever seen.

Why was the other thread locked? I'm on PS4 and lost mine. Over 3 days with no response whatsoever. I'm beyond ****ing heated at 2k. Glad Xboxers are being taken care of, but they need to get their **** together.

Reading Reddit and someone who communicates there with 2K for issues like this, he said that they halted the process of restoring players given the sheer number volume of tickets and this was their way of letting people just make their players over again. It's unfortunate because badges are lost and progress is lost but given how this manual process seemed to work, people weren't getting their players back anytime soon.

Unfortunately before this happened, I was earning VC just fine through the game and now it seems that VC and team chemistry are stuck on the upgrade screen so now that error is afflicting me as well. Ah well, always a catch to getting extra VC. As for those asking if it's finally safe to play, it seems like they're still working with Microsoft on the remaining issues going on (no idea with PS4 or other platforms). So basically, there's still cases of this happening but they're not anywhere near as frequent as before. I've played for days fine but there's still a bit of a risk there so be cautious.

I lost a 63 ovr and 5000 vc.. they gave me 85000vc...I'll take that yo lol

For those of you getting the VC but not your player. Is the the whole fiasco going to happen again? Are you just going to spend the VC on another player just to lose it ? Did any root problem get fixed? Still haven't started this mode yet.

Warning... I had my save deleted last night (XB1).

Was about to start park game, kicked to main menu and file was gone

Then 2K Support directs me to an Xbox page about how cloud saves work.

I just got a response to my ticket from 2k support saying my issue was resolved with 50k VC. Checked my 2 dummy files that was told to make still there did not get my career files back. Checked the 2kapp and do have the 50k VC.

So are they just not going to retrieve the files and give out VC ????

I read they ditched "copying" MyPlayer files because they had to do manually and there were too many; so just giving out VC now.
