We should have the choice to toggle it on or off like the normal shot meter.

I'm not a slasher so I need as much feedback as possible.

You guys remember the layup controls from 2k11 where once you was up in the air for a layup you could move the analog around and do one of those Jordan esque clutch/pump layups? I wonder why they ever took that out of the 2k

They did not remove that . Also man I remember back on 2k7 or 2k6 you could do 360 layups on command with the stick.

Driving layups with my point gaurd, it’s easy to get the timing. But with mymy centre wide open layups missing because I’m expecting a dunk and hold Down the analog to get a bad release

I never knew there was a meter for lay-ups. These people should be ashamed of themselves wanting help from everything.

Glad that they did away with it! Good riddance... It was implemented poorly last year and just because they put it in last year it has unfortunately become a gameplay crutch... Something else for someone to complain about... There are already enough variables that come into play when it comes to layups...

I have been playing this game for years and there was not a lay up meter and no one complained then...

2K created something else last year not needed for the community to complain about because of skill gap?

I have seen some awesome layup animations based on player skill this year and that is how it should be.

We have become accustomed to playing the yearly release without it and we can readapt to playing without it again.
