Never... give up all hope on that dream all together... it's still taking them a while to update player accessories after a whole preseason and the first few games of the season... doubt they will update the portraits

How long until some of these young Celtics' ratings are updated?

Jayson Tatum

Currently averaging 51% fg as well as 50% 3p. Now I by no means expect him to keep up these numbers, but some of his attributes really need a boost. His scoring attributes are really low, in particular his three. He currently has a 75 open three and a 70 off dribble/contested three. I would bump his open 3 to 80 and the other two ratings to 75-77. His shot iq is currently only 70 too. That should be 75+ otherwise he will be averaging less that 40% from the field. His driving dunk (55) and post game too, (pc - 57, ph - 50, pf - 58) all need big bumps too, this kid looks amazing so far!

Jaylen Brown

Brown is averaging 15 ppg this season so far and is taking 13.3 fg p/game. Last season he averaged 7.2 ppg on just 6 field goal attempts on average. He has clearly been given the green light to be aggressive offensivelt by Stevens. His shooting tendencies therefore need a massive bump. His offensive attributes need some work too. His mid-range is absolutely woeful in-game, his open mid is 52 and his contested/off the dribble mid is in the 40s. Although he has mainly played behind the three point line and at the rim, he has shown the ability to pull up and hit open mid-ranges fairly well so far. I would up his open to at least 65, with the other two attribtues not too far behind. As I mentioned, he is mainly playing at the rim and behind the three point line. I would therefore increase his driving layup (currently 75), as well as his three point attributes. He has show the ability to his contested threes, so that should be increased from 55 to the 70s. His off the dribble three also needs a similar bump to the mid 60s. A few more, his offensive consistency needs bumping from 45 to 55-60, and his vertical. Only 84? He can jump out the gym!

Marcus Smart

I think Smart is too low at a 79, he would be an 81 for me. I would bump his rebounding, some defensive attributes as well as fairly big increases to his passing stats. His intangibles at 50 are way too low too, I would up to about 80. All three of these guys need potential boosts too. I have Tatum at 89-91, Brown at 86-88 and Smart at an 83-85.

Al Horford

I know Big Al is the outlier in this 'young' Celts post. 83 is slightly too low for him, I would bump his passing stats slightly, his hands and his intangibles to bump him to an 84.

Dude the intangibles rating already over inflates players ratings as is... and it's such a meaningless rating that they use to raise ratings anyway... I have to disagree with most of what you are saying...

even though you are all negative all the time... I still have hope for player portraits. I have a feeling they will be updated soon since all players have finally played a good enough games to grab photos.

At a quick glance it looks like they still need to update the Lakers and Magic accessories colors (knee sleeves mainly).

They also need to get rid of Paul Pierce and Metta World Peace from the FA list as well.

Dude the intangibles rating already over inflates players ratings as is... and it's such a meaningless rating that they use to raise ratings anyway... I have to disagree with most of what you are saying...

Heat, Lakers, Mavs and Magic accessories are wrong. Canaan was waived two days ago and today is still in Houston.



A large amount of players have accessories wrong, Anthony, Porzingis and Cousins still with the undershirts that this year they never wear.

Not so much worried about players with wrong equipment (I can change those myself). I just want the 3 teams that need updates in Miami, LAL, and Orlando so I can finally start a ML.

then take it off. some of those accessory frequencies are rarely. those accessories are not wrong unless the frequency is always.

I’d think more ratings updates are coming this week right?

Karl Anthony Towns - Still has high defense ratings despite being one of the worst statistical C in the NBA.

Lonzo Ball - Still rated as an 80 which is highest rookie in the game despite tough start while Fultz was lowered to 77 overall.

Dwyane Wade - Rated an 80 despite averaging 8.2ppg


Still no position updates which is now going on Two game cycles despite many players needing adjustments to help rotations
