30 team control and keeping up with roster changes. Trying to sign Greg Monroe to the Celtics, but it says “Greg Monroe has been waived and may only be re-signed to his current value.” I have the salary cap turned off, so plenty of money, but it’s not letting me change the numbers in the negotiations screen. Anyone have a workaround??

Ran into the same problem. You just have to wait two days and then you'll be able to sign him without any hassle.

Ugh. Yeah, that makes sense, but I’m trying to keep a base roster to edit until after next weeks real life trade deadline. With the effort 2K puts into letting us do whatever we want in MyLeague, it seems like there would be a way around this so we could keep our rosters accurate without having to wait 2 days and REMEMBER to sign the guys when the season has started.

Also for the Warriors “The Town” jerseys, the socks should be black with yellow trim around the ankles for away games instead of black with blue trim.

Yeah, it’s 2 days on the calendar in-game. It sucks, because I haven’t played a single game on the save I’m talking about. I wanted a base save to have all the rosters, rotations, shoes, and accessories correct for when I start it up after the deadline. Wish there was an option to turn off the 2 day requirement for waived players.

They need to do some work on the Pacers.

Olidipo- has a stamina of 82, should be probably atleast 92

Miles Turner- probably could have his stamina dropped from 92, to 82. He also shouldnt have such a high tendency rating for post up, I think its a 85, way to high for Turner. He really shoulnt have putback king badge at all really, unless it doesnt effect actual off reb., and its just the ability to score off of the ones you do get. But in games I play, it seems Turner grabs a lot of rebounds, when he isnt a good rebounder. Also his block out rating is too high, he doesnt do a good job blocking out guys.

Lance Stephenson, should have atleast hustle rebounder badge, guy avererages over 8 rebounds per 36 minutes. He also should have flashy passer, as I dont think he has it, and even 1 man fastbreak. Considering all the players who have dimer badge, Lance probably should have that as well, since the 2k roster updater, seems to give it out freely.


There are more, but off the top of my head I cant think of them right now. If those who work on NBA2k, do happen to look at this thread, they need to get some type of plan, and have a organized update to these rosters ratings changes.
Im glad they do the updates to players, but it could be done in a much more defined and balance manner.

1 thing I just remembered, and there are a few coaches who systems that arent right. Pacers coach Nate McMillian, should not have grit and grind, he should have either peritmeter centric, or you could even possibly make it a Defense, even though there defense isnt all to great,lol. Pacers arent so much a prolific 3pt team as far as attempts goes compared to other teams, as Pacers are 1 of not the highest mid range shot attempts in the league, so not sure if that fits the perimeter centric style in the way the game calculates it, so if not, then probably defensive system would work as well, as its there defense which leads to their FB points, more so, than pushing the pace and shooting at will.

Please decrease Gerald Green´s shooting a bit. After his hot start with the Rockets, he is now "only" around 40% from Downtown and just 38% from Midrange.

Please boost Tomas Satoransky´s shooting a bit. He is averaging 48% from downtown. I know, he just shoots 1.2 attempts per game, but I still think he should deserve a little bump.

Jason Kidd could use a rebound boost. I can't even get 5 with him. Actually I've never more then 3.

Jokic have sliver passing badges (dimer) and only 82 passing ratings is a straight up smack in the man's face. I'm sure he has at least 3 passes that are up passes of the year. Or he needs floor general to balance out.

- Emeka Okafor's story does not get nearly as much press as it should, he was robbed 4 years of his career due to a herniated disc in his neck. Fought through years of rehab and the G-League to get back to the League. Starts for New Orleans and looks like he has not lost a step. Once he signs for the rest of the season he definitely deserves a boost.

- Allen Crabbe is finally living up to the Big Contract that Brooklyn gave him, he is averaging 25.3 PPG over the last 5 games. A true 3 and D Player, once he develops a Go-To Move he will be really hard to stop.

- Jarrett Allen has entrenched himself as the Nets' Starting Center and seems to ahead of schedule in his development. He's put up double digit scoring in 10 Straight Games, is a beast on the boards and has hit a few 3's as well. I keep forgetting that he is only 19, his Game is really advanced for his age.

- Speaking of Brooklyn, they are 2nd in the League in 3 Pointers Attemped and 3rd in 3 Pointers Made. Yet the Highest Rated 3 Point Shooter on the team is only an 82 and everyone else is below that. I know the Developers are not Net fans at all, but this is hard to overlook.
