I usually watch CPU vs CPU games with sliders included of course. First thing is i hear alot of people saying superstar is the best difficulty for CPU vs CPU games? They also keep talking about this so called ACE? what is ACE?

Adaptive Coaching Engine. If turned on, the game is supposed to make coaching adjustments to adapt to what's going on in the game. If turned off then you have to make your own adjustments. Now whether or not if it works as intended is a whole other question in itself.

I use Hall of Fame for CPU/CPU for the first time this year. It was specifically mentioned by the devs that certain ACE features would only be fully represented in Hall of Fame, so that's why I made the switch from Superstar.
It looks good so far, except for the two major game killing bugs which need to be fixed, which are the defender drifting into the paint issue (lovingly referred to as the Otto Porter glitch around here) and the "break a leg" issue where players are frequently breaking their ankles following a contested jump shot. I believe the devs are actively working on fixes for both, and we'll see them resolved soon-ish, hopefully.NBA 2K18 ratings for several seasons generated from advanced analytics using the SportsCrunch system:
