Man so tired of lag in shots when the park is full.

I'm a 7'3 C Rebounding/Slasher. Rolled with a couple rando's in the park last night. Dude kept on chucking up shot after shot after shot while I was wide open in the post. He went 0-15. Needless to say we lost.

Even when I sag off them they still force their way to the paint and drag me to the rim with them lol, slashers are low key OP this they literally dunk on everything if they don’t dunk they finish too easy,

          Anyone looking for squad mates?

I'm playing primarily as a pass-first guard (shot creating playmaker) just looking to rack up assists if I'm being honest, only really taking shots when I have tons of space to work with.

Couple people on here have played with me before so can vouch for me if they're still around.

I'm usually on weekdays between 4pm - 8pm. Weekends pretty much any time.

I'm from the UK so would prefer other players from europe due to servers etc but happy to play with anybody really.

what? I love plaything against slashers. Easiest archetype to guard and not even close. You wait for him at the edge of the paint and bump his *** before he tries to take of for the finish.

That’s what I “try” to do, meet him a little before the rim, but like I said 2k forced me in animations when a slasher drives to the rim so yeah, so either he dunks on me or finishes a heavily contested layup

I’m stuck playing with randoms at the moment so I take the wins when I can but man the b-ball IQ for randoms is so damn low.

Anyone having trouble getting shots hey usually take to hit the last couple days? Slashing Playmaker, I only take jumpers when wide open and I was hitting threes around 40% and midrange around 55%, now I can’t hit a jumper to save my life. I still get good releases the majority of the time but they rarely fall.

Same build and same problem with the “good release” it really aggravates me when I see good release pop up but yet I miss the shot 70% of the time.

                      Just ignore it.

I've gotten to where I'm used to missing good releases when I'm wide open. I try to take solace in the fact that when I see "good shot selection" afterwards, I know the game is going to take note of the fact my shot selection is good, and eventually I'll make a deep threepointer or some contested shot I actually have no business making.

it's a number game that sometimes feels like a war of attrition, but I'm finding the percentages seem to average out with time.

Yeah it's rough. I had a couple games where I was playing and the frame rate was bad or it was lagging to the point where I couldn't even green light. There was a delay on my shot. Also the close out speed on this game is ridiculous... if I'm open how is the defender able to double team and get a block/ contest on me. I've played with people who should be dominating the paint but they either go up soft or get their ball blocked by someone smaller or off some crazy miscalculated jump. Playing pro am has it's flaws too i hope something gets adjusted but I'll put a little bit of my optimism in the next 2k hoping something gets changed at least.
