The courts are more washed out now. I remember this was a norm for the series but I'm talking like 2k10. Crazy. It's back!

With all due respect man, I’m not sure if you know how it’s suppose to work.

If ace is on, it’s suppose to change throughout the game. So yes, it’ll change the settings you select throughout the game because it’s adjusting(matchups, POE’s). However, if you turn it off, it will not change your ACE settings throughout the game.

Probably like you, I adjust EVERYTHING prior to the game starting, and you are indeed correct that 2K17 ACE menu didn’t show you your selection. Now it does, and it doesn’t change.

Unless I am misunderstanding how it functions, you are bashing 2K for fixing something that you wanted fix so badly. Cheers

1. if you have your ACE On and your Defensive Settings to AUTO they will adjust to the Coach and the Coaches input will be highlighted on the ACE MENU. That is not happening. IF you have your ACE OFF, you make all the decisions the ACE will not work for you but will for the CPU.

And this is for ksuttonjr76 the dude who swore up and down yesterday ACE work because it's "STICKING" and I kept trying to tell him it doesn't work.

You just aren't receptive to other's opinion. I know how ACE was not functioning on 2K17, but for 2K18, with ACE off, it functions as its suppose to. My ACE settings do stick 100%, and I watched your video several times just to make sure I understood.

If you think ACE is at a point where it can make all the decisions for you as effective as you would, I think that may be your ignorance sir. No one indicated it would be perfect, and that's what it seems like you are indicating from your video.

Essentially what I gathered is that it's not doing exactly what you want. It doesn't for me either, and I think we are several years away from that capability. They improved it, but it is far from perfected.

So my question is to you, why don't you just turn off ACE and individually adjust your defensive settings and POE's?

In 2K17 Czar told us it'll change our POE settings after a timeout and that's what bothers you. I just don't understand why you are so hellbent to use it when there are ways to make your defense function (Defensive settings, POE's, matchups) as you'd like. Just because a system doesn't work the way you think it should doesn't mean its broken.

All patch fixes will work in your existing game mode saves.

After the patch it takes about 2 minutes to load to go to my court, now I can't play (start game with friends) on my court either.

Also after I create a shoe I can't equip it.

the CAP of NBA LIVE 99, no body tipes, no way to change current nba players bodies (since 50% of them are wrong).

They just don't f...ing care about costumers who play Association and My league, it's disgusting

Played it last night p.c two games and not one ounce of fun.

Player the of game is picked with 5 minutes left in a 9 minute quarter...even if he has subpar stats. 100;%scripted.

Never been disappointed in a2k game before like this...will check for Patch 5 ..6... 7 The next few months.

Game is unplayable offline out of the box.

Your question is stupid and off topic.

1st because it is subjective i could say 2k11 is the best and if you think not, you will argue to death because thats what 2k superstans do.

and second, it has nothing and i repeat NOTHING to do with the matter at hand.

I paid this game full price, so i expect it to not have as many flaws and bugs as it has today.
How they gonna drop a patch that breaks even more stuff than before ?
framerates drops are incredible, the clipping is bad, still getting stuck in ******* animations and it goes on and on..

i wont even go into the online stuff. Just go on twitter and other social medias even the big youtubers who are on 2k payola are calling them out.

So unless you have anything else related to say about this, please spare me your superstandom.

What I showing you is a decision I made to show you even if you make a menu selection and it visually sticks, the on the court actions are not adhering to the selection you made based on the principles of the defense. You are trying to make it about me, and how I'm playing and my understanding and trust me I watch all the Da_Czar videos as well as Scotts video describing the defense, hence why I say it does not work.

You and others are relying upon a visual aid, I'm relying on the principles, and if the AI doesn't perform up to the principle, that means it isn't working, no differnt from your defensive settings.

Can 2K please acknowledge and fix the inconsistent dunks? When I triggered a right hand dunk in 2k17 I got one. In 2k18, I don't know what im getting (right hand, windmill, 360, etc). Two hand dunks are almost impossible to trigger consistently if your player has an abundant dunk package.

Is it me but after the patch the colors now look washout? I have a 4k tv and the pro but the colors are not popping out for some reason..

Anyone else seeing this?

I have the same setup and colors seem vibrant enough to me. After seeing your post I played a 'play now' game to test.

Was your issue in a different mode?

I think it's a custom arena issue. Games in real life arenas are ok for me but any games in my expansion team arenas look like doo doo since the patch which sucks considering half my games in a season are in a custom arena.

Ok, I finally understand. I’m not making it about you, I’m sinply trying to make sure we all understand how it works so we can say something is broken or not, and how to improve it.

So my question is, how do you know exactly what it’s suppose to do when you select a certain setting? Is this based off of something the devs detailed or just your opinion on how the defense should adjust when you select “shrink the floor?”

You gotta understand I’m not trying to be right or wrong, but pinpoint what’s going on.
