Just like last year. Even with them saying they won't be adjusting shooting all the time especially early in the year and asking about it on Twitter, but its already happening the same as it did last year like a bad dream.Comment

Yeah, thinking if you just restart the console after an update all will be well.

Re: What did the latest update do?
Edit: After 4 games. There is definitely a difference. I don't even feel like I'm the one controlling my players because it takes so long for things to happen, and it's not lag. Everything takes forever to respond on both sides of the ball, commands and movement.
All of my games have finished with both of us under 50 when I can usually hit 70 by the end of games.
I hated every second of every game I played tonight haha.Last edited by killakrok; 10-25-2017, 10:57 AM.Comment

Re: What did the latest update do?
Latest update basically broke the game for me. You cant defend anymore. A foul will be called almost everytime you try to reach for a steal. Dont even try to chasedown block coz that is automatic foul too even if you are far. Ai teammates dont defend anymore. Cpu opponent dont defend too. You can just slash all game and get 100 points if you want too automatic. Gameplay used to be ok. Dont know what they changed. This game has become unplayable for me after the latest update. Before i forgot. Cpu dont miss open shots anymore. Last game i played in the playoffs against pistons. They even shot 80 percent from the field the whole game. Wtf.Comment

Re: What did the latest update do?
I feel the same way. Until 2K Sports makes an announcement, everything is just pure speculation. The game feels the same to me. The shooting seems to be the only thing that seems inconsistent to me, but it's nothing that I can swear to.
Personally, I just assume the updates are mainly for rosters and ACE.
I'm more concerned about that Patch 5 will do, since it includes actual game play changes that can effect other areas.
For me though, as far as Play Now on/off line....exact same game it was after Patch 4.....

Re: What did the latest update do?
These are the people constantly screaming into Mike Wang’s ear on twitter. Sadly he hasn’t shown the ability to ignore it which is why i’m worried about the future of this game. It’s great right now, but i’m worried about how it could turn out if he decides to keep giving into themComment

Mike in the poll thread in case you hadn't seen it:
I was watching a Twitch streamer last night and the subject of contested shots came up in the chat. He asked me to put up the poll so we could see what the general consensus of the Park community was. Don't worry, regardless of the poll results, I'm not planning on making any major changes to shooting. If I tweak anything, it will be subtle... and will only be applied to Park (maybe Pro Am.)Comment

Yeah, Mile has said as much as far as the updates go.

Re: What did the latest update do?
Everyone thinks it's that easy. Mike Wang wish it was. I'm telling you Mike Wang wishes he never gave so much info to begin with. The shot meter as well. I need a catchy nickname for these my career and my park complainers. Me me me..... None of them ever add anything constructive. Or think about it from the devs side. When the devs change something it's not a personal attack on you. Maybe they haven't changed anything.

Re: What did the latest update do?
Revert everything back to Sept. 15 settings. There ya go.
Seriously, it's Oct. 25, like only a month into it... People are still upgrading, badge grinding, etc. Why not let that trajectory play out some before even touching the gameplay, sans major major flaws. Every year it's the same -- more risk in patching something than leaving it alone and letting it play out. It's good to be responsive, but not hyper-responsive to every complaint, because user error / learning curve is real. Whatever you do, don't dumb down the game for the noobs plz.Comment
