How significant is the stamina attribute for myPlayer?

I have been raising this much slower than my other attributes, partially because I know it makes getting tireless scorer harder.

That said, what affects does stamina actually have? In career mode, I'm still crushing the CPU in Hall of Fame deep into the 4th after playing the most minutes on my team, despite having a stamina of like 86.

Does it have a big hidden influence that I'm not seeing? As it is it doesn't seem to matter.

Doesnt matter at a certain point from what i can see. If it is too low rating wise seems like guy has nothing left in 4th quarter though. Turnovers, missed shots all over, but seems like past the 80s it should not be too bad.

Pro-am stamina can diminish quicker so definitely helps have a bigger tank if you are turboing all over the place trying to catch cherry pickers.

Honestly it seems to matter very little.

I play 11 min quarters in MyCareer and I never had the gatorade icon once.
Same goes with pro am games.

This is a huge difference with 2k17 when I had always the gatorade icon in 4th quarters.

Honestly, I have the feeling that in 2k18 stamina is mostly something for slowing even more the development of your MyPlayer (consuming both VC and unlockable upgrades)
