This is why I do not use the default sliders whatsoever.

He did edit the sliders after demonstrating how easy it was on default HOF.

He increased the CPU defensive contact sliders (to the 90s or 100) like contact frequency going to the rim. He also raised on ball defense to the 90s or the 100.

I was told those contact sliders for defense will impact that sides difficulty to score and not the opponents side. If so, he would need to raise his own sides contact sliders albeit on ball maxed for CPU did not seem to make a difference.

LBJ posterizes the help defense in such a way and at such a rate that we don't see in reality outside of the game for himself or anyone else in the Association or in College or in High School.

I would imagine he can continue tweaking. Go ahead and max CPU defensive awareness and consistency, max on ball d and lateral quickness, and lastly, adjust the contact sliders that impact shots at the rim and going to the rim but do it for the User side and keep CPU where it is.

If it still doesn't work then it's clear he has a unique problem at the extreme most disfunction the rest of us are not experiencing.

I've always thought that the camera plays a significant part of gameplay in 2K. Specifically due to the difference in visual spacing and scaling cues each angle offers.

I've always hated playing on broadcast (which is what you're playing on right?) because I could never accurately measure distance and depth of spacing to figure out whether I could cross over, shoot, or pass without screwing myself into a bad shot, turnover, or running into a teammate. Do you have this same issue if you changed the camera angle to say 2K cam?

The problem isn't the defense, it's the dunk frequency/layup success rate. Lower those.

The problem is the defense. Why is Durant so tight on Lebron when he is driving all the time? This is a legacy issue. They play too tight on shooters or they double and leave guys wide open. The default shooting sliders are birckalicious yet the defense guards the ball too tight. This isnt cheese. This is the best way to score.

The problem is 1on1 ON BALL DEFENSE. All the time, all players beat your opponent.

And guys, SLIDERS DONT FIXED THIS! I put all Defense sliders to CPU in 100, put all SPEED SLIDERS for CPU on 100 and USER 0 and LeBron beat Durant every play.

I dont know, 2k just focus 90% for online players, and just forget to play and testing this game for offline users.

I wish this could be fixed with sliders. I have most of my sliders for cpu set at 100(or near) still way to easy. I dont abuse the situation but just moving the ball and automatic plays blows out the cpu consistently(besides GSW).

1on1 defense and help defense needs to be patched or something.


Also tendencies need to have a major update. Thought this was someones job?

No excuse for the defense this year. Sadly this is the best version of 2k in awhile but it cant keep my interest if im only playing gsw for a challenge.
