SF/SG vs SF/PF

My 6'10 lockdown defender SF, 235lbs was labeled a SF/PF, but I want him to be a SF/SG... Is there any way I can make this happen? I have another SF that is the exact same height and weight, but he is a playmaking SF, and he is labeled a SF/SG...

This is important to me because I want my SF to be a perimeter defender strictly... But just be really long...

I'm actually trying to get a player with SF/PF as their position. I've made several different archetype builds of SF to see if I could and no matter the team...it says SF/SG. It wasn't like that when I first got the game back in Sep. I made a SF and no matter what archetype he was SF/PF. Not sure if a patch changed the positions or what.

What actually determines the positions? Is it height? weight? or purely stats?

Also, does the secondary position get determined by how many players on that team play the same position? (ex. Team A already has 1 SG so they make your secondary position SG to make up for the lack of depth at that position)

stats matters if has better outside shooting and ball handling it will be sf/sg
archetype matters too

I am likewise pissed that my 7'2" 250 lbs center wasn't labeled a SF/PF

I started a 2nd mycareer. 6'10" 250 lbs PF. Slashing Stretch Four.
He is labeled PF/SF.

I'm playing for Boston, I haven't played any SF thank god, but I have played Centre at times atm I'm still playing off the bench.
