Anyway, once we installed NBA 2K and attempted to connect to download a roster, we keep getting the "you do not meet the requirements to have a MyPlayer Account and play online." We've removed his account and downloaded it again, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and tried several other suggestions with no luck. We aren't trying to play online or anything. We just want the updated rosters on his profile. If I sign him out and use my profile I can access the rosters to download with no issues. We have the Gold 14 day free trial, but I've read that isn't even necessary just to download rosters. What the heck can we do? I'm beyond frustrated with this for hours and hours of trying to fix it.

XBOX ONE - You do not meet the requirement...Please Help
So I got my 10 year old son an XBOX One S for Christmas with NBA 2K. He previously had an Xbox 360. When he originally got the 360, I set him up with a child account with his actual age. Through some time and research, I was able to get the restrictions and so forth adjusted from his account and change his status from "child" and also changed his age so he could play Fortnite and a few other games.

You probably have to delete his account and make a new one. Once you tell them the age the first time, even if you change it the games Still won't let you play. I had this same problem with league of legends -

I know this is about a year later, but I am having the same exact issue with the NBA 2k19 Xbox One S bundle I bought my little brother. I changed his status to an adult and nothing worked. Super upset with 2k's awful support system so I turn to the community. Were you able to solve the problem? And if so, how? Thanks!Comment
