    Again curious thing.

2k14 on next gen had: Best courts, best lighting, best player models and faces.
2k15 arguably had the worst faces
2k16 arugably had the best gameplay
2k17 arguably had the worst player models and courts.

You'd think that would be reversed.
2k18 is probably my #2 for graphics. It's no slouch. Gotta get those courts back to looking great again though.

I agree I really wish 2k would put as much effort in the court details as the competition does, I believe the courts is still more of a lighting issue or lack there of. We can literally create the courts in the game but the lighting and lack of light reflection on the courts is what makes them look so far off.

Just bought the game yesterday, and uh...wow, you guys aren't kidding about the lighting.

The biggest thing that stood out to me was that the game overall has a green tint to it. I don't know if it's an artistic decision (I don't remember previous 2Ks being this bad) or they just working on poorly-calibrated monitors, but that's probably a big contributor to how dull everything looks.

There's still a lot to do to liven up the stadium lighting as a whole, but I think if they at the very least made sure white was white (again, assuming it's not an artistic choice they made), it'd go a long way to clearing up this haze they have going on.

Ball color needs to be addressed as well. It's a small thing but c'mon 2k....

I would say the net and net physics. To me, it seems that the net is waaayyyyy too thin. The physics have improved greatly, but there are still lots of times where the ball literally goes through the net. Idk if this is due to how thin the net is, but I just feel like the net is almost invisible when playing on broadcast. I think it should be more prominent and the rim should be a richer color of orange.

Graphics in 2k are excellent especially considering how they have to hit that 60fps budget. Sure things like lighting and texture work for muscle definition could be tweaked but I honestly believe they're doing as much as they can. I mean you can even see fingerprints and wear and tear detail on the backboards.

Having said all that, I think they should apply some basic physics to dudes with long hair. The other game does this very nicely whereas here it's completely static.

we need cyberfaces for All players. if you are Not able to facescan All rookies so be it, but at least create a cyberface. if i am Bogdan bogdanovic, maxi kleber, daniel theis or any of the other players without a face i would feel insulted by how i Look in the game...

                      What can be improved?

Some of the player models are just becoming worse and worse, it's nearly unacceptable.

Yea once you become a classic player in 2k its pretty much a wrap on having a detailed face.

I understand they can never put the same attention on creating historical players , but what about those that they already had resource from previous games. Is it that difficult to use those already incredible models from previous games?

I mean look at this, this is 2K14, released in 2013 as a launch title with PS4 and XB1.

and still in 2018 I still keep this game in my PS4 hard drive, just because Kobe in 2k18 is just soooooooooooo UGLY....

Sort of graphical, but please keep my player his actual height during cut scenes. 6'11 dude is like 6 foot even in cut scenes, KD looks like Yao Ming from my height

Also women. I know it's far more difficult due to hair, but there's got to be a way to improve them graphically, cheerleaders and cut scene women look like monsters on this game

the player models and jerseys were a let down to me this year. they should have just built upon 2k17's base instead of starting all over. players look frail and emaciated.
